Today, I led a letter with my Ohio colleagues demanding answers from Trump's FBI after their massive raid targeting voter registration in our state.
We need answers because voter registration is not voter fraud.
Cleveland's NYSP has continued to pour into the young folks of our community by offering programs to prepare students for college and their future ambitions.
This organization is setting our youth up for success, & I couldn't be prouder of the positive impact they have made.
I love how Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Heights came together to lift up our very own gold medalist Laila Edwards. My office was honored to attend this weekend's celebration and pass along our recognition. Congratulations Laila!
The FBI raid in Cleveland is part of a systematic effort by Trump, Kash Patel, and others to attack our elections and perpetuate myths of voter fraud – all to undermine and challenge any result that Trump doesn't agree with.

Trump's FBI raid on Cleveland is a warning sign of what's to come: A weaponized federal effort to intimidate voters instead of defending their rights.
This is an unprecedented attack on democracy: these raids must end. Voter registration is not voter fraud.

🚨The Trump and Kash Patel-led FBI has just raided a voter registration group in Cleveland.
This is straight up voter intimidation designed to suppress our vote.
I’ve demanded answers from the FBI, because this is unacceptable. Here’s what you need to know.
Ohio was reminded today that the fight for the right to vote is not history. It is happening right now.
Earlier this week, I took to the House floor to say that Juneteenth reminds us of the long battle to secure voting rights and Black political power.
That fight is ours to carry today.
I am alarmed and outraged by reports that Trump and Kash Patel’s FBI has raided the Ohio Organizing Collective in Cleveland.
This appears to be a blatant effort to suppress and deny the vote of people in Northeast Ohio. These raids must end immediately.
Today I introduced the Housing Supply Fund, new legislation to build more homes and lower housing costs. Too many families can’t afford the housing they need to thrive and Congress needs to act.
This week, Republicans passed a reckless budget that does nothing to lower costs for Americans, but does give ICE billions of YOUR tax dollars to continue their reign of terror on our communities.
I refuse to give another dime to Trump's lawless ICE- that's why I voted NO.
I have a message for Rep. James Comer: Stop with the racist comments about “my people” and keep my name out of your mouth.
Republicans are letting the truth slip out about what they really want - to take health care away from millions.
Years-long delays are an infringement upon that right, and these delays hurt workers.
Now that the House has acted, the Senate needs to pass this legislation as well.
Speaker Johnson wouldn’t bring this bill to the floor, but House Democrats and the Labor Caucus built bipartisan support and used a discharge petition to force a vote. The right to organize and collectively bargain is crucial to improving wages, benefits, working conditions, and more.
The House just passed the Faster Labor Contracts Act – this is a big win for workers!
I proudly voted for this bill, which speeds up the process of finalizing a contract between a newly certified union and the employer, and prevents employers from dragging out negotiations for years.
I just voted NO on the Reckless Republican Budget that gives ICE billions.
While Americans struggle with higher costs, Republicans are giving ICE & CBP another $60 billion so they can continue to terrorize communities with a lawless and violent mass deportation agenda. SHAME.
The Supreme Court has ripped the Voting Rights Act to shreds, and now Black voting rights are at risk.
I will not watch this happen without a fight.
Leaving this here, in case anyone is wondering why we have screwworm in the US for the first time since the 1960s.
The DOGE stupidity from Trump and Rollins will end up COSTING taxpayers money.

From quality of life, to building wealth, it all starts with housing. That’s why we held our Housing Expo, to connect constituents with resources, agencies, and experts. Ohioans are struggling with higher costs and need support – that’s what our expo was all about.
Thanks to all the organizations and presenters who made our OH-11 Housing Expo a success. It was great seeing constituents connect with govt agencies, lenders, and advocates.
I’m working to lower housing costs, strengthen affordable housing, and expand homeownership.
Celebrating the end to another successful OH-11 Housing Expo. A time was definitely had!
