60 years ago today, following generations of protest and determination, the Voting Rights Act was signed into law.
Our work to protect the right to vote is far from over – I’ll keep fighting to expand access to the ballot box and ensure all of our voices are heard.

Thanks to the Republicans’ trash budget, a Central Oregon tribal radio station will be losing 40% of its annual funding.
By providing up-to-date emergency alerts and local news, KWSO keeps our communities safe and informed – now, that’s at risk.

Thank you to all 16,000 of you who joined my telephone town hall last night with @democracyforward.org!
It was great to connect with so many of you. Thank you for calling in and sharing your concerns – next up, Molalla! Let’s Give ‘Em Hell!
Congratulations to Cole Hocker, former @uoregon.bsky.social Duck and newest men's 5,000m champion on his victory yesterday.
He also secured his spot on Team USA for the upcoming World Athletics Championships this September 💪 Can't wait to cheer you on!

Between 2010 and 2024, investments in rural Oregon and our tribal communities doubled.
Now, Republicans are cutting that funding, and it's hurting our state.
I won't stop fighting to make sure Oregonians get the support they deserve.

Fewer jobs and higher costs – that’s Trump’s America.

Republicans’ trash budget guts funding for public broadcasting, which Oregonians in CD5 rely on for emergency alerts, especially during wildfire season.
This decision was dangerous and short-sighted. I won’t stop fighting to keep our communities safe.

I came to Congress to make life better for Oregonians, and that’s exactly what this funding will do.
I’ll continue to fight to make sure this funding for projects across our district is delivered to our communities.

If you’re ever wondering if I read your comments, I do! It’s important to me as your representative to know how you’re feeling, so I took some time to respond to your comments ⬇️
Thousands of miles later, Bob now holds the Guinness World Record for the oldest man to cycle across America. Way to go, Bob!
Biking from San Diego to St. Augustine?! One bike and a whole lot of determination – respect 👏

The data doesn't lie: Trump's policies are not working for the economy or for the American people.
Prices are rising, employers aren't hiring, and life is getting harder – not easier – for Oregonians.
It's time for another telephone town hall – I hope you'll join me for the last one of the Give 'Em Hell tour.
If you'd like to join Monday, August 4 at 6PM, please RSVP with your name and contact information below. I can't wait to hear from you!

I'm excited to announce that the funding for all 15 projects in CD5 I fought for is one step closer to becoming reality.
I'll keep pushing to ensure this funding heads to CD5 so our communities can invest in clean drinking water, public safety, child care, and affordable housing.
Happy #NationalInternDay to our incredible group of summer interns!
In addition to being the stars of our TikToks, these wonderful young leaders have held it down answering constituent calls, giving Capitol tours, and much more.
Thank you for all your hard work!
Planned Parenthood provides essential healthcare to Oregonians across our state, nearly 60% of whom rely on Medicaid.
The Trump administration's attempt to defund these clinics is dangerous – I stand with @agdanrayfield.bsky.social in the fight to protect access to care.

Thanks to Trump's tariffs, the prices of household items like toothpaste, toilet paper, and detergent are expected to go up next month.
This administration's economic policies have been misguided and chaotic, and Oregonians are the ones paying the price.

Portland is home to the Blazers, and it should stay that way.
This is about the integrity of our city, fans, and employees who make the team whole. Selling this team would be an insult to the city.

FEMA just denied Oregon’s request for natural disaster relief assistance.
When disasters strike, Oregonians deserve support – not to be left behind by the Trump Admin.
I’ll keep pushing for the resources we need to rebuild and to prevent future damage to our communities.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
