This strains care in states like Washington that have continued to protect abortion rights. I will continue fighting to restore abortion protections for patients and doctors nationwide. (2/2)
Four years after Dobbs, women are worse off. They are traveling farther, paying more, and facing greater barriers to care. Since Idaho imposed a restrictive abortion ban, more than one-third of the state’s OB-GYNs have left – and women are forced to seek care elsewhere. (1/2)
I look forward to working with Mr. Kavulla and Bonneville’s diverse customers to ensure our region continues to benefit and thrive from clean and affordable electricity. (2/2)
On a bipartisan basis, Congress said "no" to President Trump’s illegal war. A diplomatic resolution that ensures Iran cannot develop nuclear weapons or continue to finance its proxies that terrorize our allies is the best and only enduring path forward.
BREAKING: The Senate adopts the House-passed Iran war powers resolution in a symbolic rebuke of Trump.
NOAA's Hurricane Hunters collect vital data from inside dangerous storms, but much of the fleet is over 50 years old. That’s why the bipart Hurricane Hunter Aircraft Recapitalization Act will modernize the aging fleet and codify the mission in federal law.
On Juneteenth we reflect on America’s history of slavery and what it has meant for our country. It is also a day to look forward and recommit ourselves to the fight for civil rights, voting rights, and social and economic justice.

I am monitoring the fires in Spokane. These fast-moving fires are unpredictable. Please follow evacuation orders and other instructions from local authorities as they work to save lives and homes. www.spokesman.com/stories/2026...
Schools are cutting Olympic sports programs & dropping scholarships. We can & should write better rules that put athletes first & keep our institutions strong. That is exactly what the Protect College Sports Act does. Thank you USOPC for voicing support!
An inflation rate of 4.2% is too high for American households to endure. Rising energy prices because of the war with Iran is the biggest reason the cost of living is going up and this Administration has no plan to deal with it.
BREAKING: Inflation jumps to 4.2%, the highest level since early 2023, keeping consumers under pressure as war with Iran keeps gas prices high.
