Fertilizer and fuel prices are spiking because of the president’s reckless war in the Middle East. Critical markets around the world have closed because of the president’s reckless trade wars. American farmers are struggling more than ever because of the administration’s reckless policies.
BARTIROMO: What are doing in your department to ensure farmers are not getting impacted harshly by the spike in the price of fertilizer? BROOKE ROLLINS: It's a great question. Obviously, the farm economy we inherited, the farmers have struggled.
Nearly a year after Liberation Day, the president’s illegal tariff taxes have cost American small businesses dearly. It’s time to put an end to these reckless policies that have driven up prices, killed good-paying jobs, and crushed small businesses! www.americanprogress.org/article/in-t...
When was the last time the president pumped his own gas? Our billionaire president may not care that gas prices are rising at a record pace, but working-class families certainly do.
you thought they'd go up more? quite the joke indeed. average price increases vs 4 weeks ago: diesel: +$2.34/gal in Phoenix, AZ in +$2.27 Prescott, AZ +$2.27 Orange County, CA +$2.25 Goldsboro, NC gasoline: +$1.48/gal Provo, UT +$1.47 Michigan City, IN +$1.44 Salt Lake City, UT +$1.44 Gary, IN
Equal hours. Equal effort. But only a fraction of the paycheck. That is the reality for women in America—and it’s unacceptable. On Equal Pay Day, I join my @demwomencaucus colleagues as we demand fair wages for all women. #EqualPayDay
Whether it is illegal tariff taxes or another regime change war in the Middle East, the president’s reckless policies are driving up prices, crushing hardworking families, and increasing the likelihood of a recession. Americans deserve better.
Economists have pulled up their risk assessments of a U.S. contraction amid heightened uncertainty over geopolitical risk and a labor market that for the past year has shown strains. Full details: cnb.cx/4lSRW2E
I'm glad to see the administration allowing summertime sales of E15—but more is needed. I urge Republican leaders to bring forward a proposal that will enable year-round E15, which will help to lower gas prices and support Missouri farmers. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
The deployment of troops in Iran is an escalation that will guarantee months, if not years, of additional conflict—and billions more taxpayer dollars spent on another regime change war in the Middle East. Congress cannot allow the president to unilaterally drive our nation into another quagmire.
The Pentagon ordered a couple thousand paratroopers to deploy to the Middle East, U.S. officials said, as President Trump weighs a significant escalation in the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran and declines to rule out putting U.S. troops on Iranian soil.
Democrats are fighting to ensure TSA agents, emergency responders, and our men and women in the Coast Guard receive their paychecks. But President Trump and Republicans in Congress are blocking the funding bill that will make it possible. It's time to put people over petty politics.
Trump and Republicans are FAILING our TSA agents and American travelers. TSA agents are working without pay because Trump refuses to work with Democrats to fund the TSA, FEMA and the Coast Guard. They’d rather play political games than fund the Department of Homeland Security.
As the costs continue to skyrocket and families struggle to make ends meet, the president is more focused on spending tens of billions of dollars on another regime change war in the Middle East. It’s no wonder the public is extremely unhappy. www.reuters.com/world/us/tru...
Happy National Ag Day! Today and every day, we show our appreciation for the American farmers who keep food on our tables and our nation strong. I’ll keep fighting for farmers by working to strike down costly tariffs and enact policies like year-round E-15.
By the end of the week, the administration will have spent more than $25 billion in their war with Iran—and they are requesting another $200 billion. All while driving up gas and grocery costs for hardworking American families. www.americanprogress.org/article/by-t...
Congress could fund TSA today. But the president would rather use TSA employees and American travelers as hostages over his extreme demands to keep ICE unchecked and enact voter suppression legislation. www.nbcnews.com/politics/don...
The president’s reckless decision to start another war in the Middle East has sent gas prices soaring, putting more strain on families that were already struggling to stay afloat. I’ll keep fighting to end this unnecessary conflict & lower costs for Missourians. www.kctv5.com/2026/03/22/g...
Congress is ready to make a bipartisan deal that will end the chaos at airports across the country. But the president is personally standing in the way. Instead, he is sending untrained ICE agents to airports nationwide.
NEWS: Republican Leader John Thune told Trump that Senate Republicans would finally join Senate Democrats to support funding all of DHS except ICE. Donald Trump said no. This shutdown is on him alone.
