Chag Pesach Sameach to all those celebrating in #MO05!
As you gather with your loved ones around the Seder table, may this season bring peace and happiness.
And may we all be inspired by the strength of the Jewish people and the continuous fight for freedom.
Happy Passover!

Today, the Supreme Court is hearing a case determining whether the president can unilaterally end birthright citizenship.
The 14th Amendment is clear. The president cannot rewrite the Constitution.
The court must uphold the law and defend birthright citizenship!

This investment not only transforms downtown into a vibrant, accessible hub where families connect, small businesses grow, and local farmers thrive, but it also builds opportunity and strengthens Grandview for generations to come.
Proud to have secured $850,000 in federal funding to help bring Grandview’s Main Street Market to life – and honored to help unveil its new name: Grandview Station!
Their vision combines education, mental health, and workforce development – meaning more opportunity, more support, and a stronger foundation for the next generation to thrive.
It was an honor to visit the future home of Cornerstones of Care’s Education Campus and see firsthand the life-changing work shaping brighter futures for foster youth across our region.
Republicans ripped health care away from millions of Americans & drove up costs for millions more to give massive tax cuts to the wealthy and well-connected.
Now, they’re threatening additional cuts to health care programs to pay for the president’s reckless war in Iran.
Americans deserve better.
Transgender Day of Visibility is a time of remembrance and recognition.
Today, let us recommit ourselves to speaking out against discrimination in every form.

Jeffries: "The only thing standing between the chaos that is taking place at airports all across the country and the American people and making sure you are no longer inconvenienced is House Republicans. Unfortunately MAGA extremists in the House continue to inflict pain on the American people"
This is not only despicable, but it is deeply damaging to our armed forces.
If promotions are based on racism and bigotry, rather than skill and experience, we will lose qualified and dedicated men and women in every branch of the military.
This is not leadership. Mr. Hegseth and his team must go.
"Mr. Buria [Hegseth's chief of staff] told Mr. Driscoll [Secretary of the Army] that President Trump would not want to stand next to a Black female officer at military events, the officials said."

After weeks of blocking funding for TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard, Senate Republicans finally relented and passed legislation to fund these vital agencies.
The House should pass the bill, end the chaos, and continue negotiations that will ensure stronger guardrails on ICE and CBP.
Working-class families were already hurting from rising housing costs.
Now, the president’s regime change war in the Middle East is driving up mortgage rates and making housing even more expensive.
Americans deserve better.

The president’s reckless decision to start another regime change war in the Middle East is driving another surge of inflation that is already hurting hardworking families across the country.

Congress must reassert its constitutional authority over military action before the president drags America into another conflict that has long-term consequences for the nation.
I support this effort by @jayapal.house.gov and @meeks.house.gov.

Fertilizer and fuel prices are spiking because of the president’s reckless war in the Middle East.
Critical markets around the world have closed because of the president’s reckless trade wars.
American farmers are struggling more than ever because of the administration’s reckless policies.
Nearly a year after Liberation Day, the president’s illegal tariff taxes have cost American small businesses dearly.
It’s time to put an end to these reckless policies that have driven up prices, killed good-paying jobs, and crushed small businesses!

The administration wants to spend $200 billion on another regime change war in the Middle East.
I think that money would be better spent lowering health care costs, investing in workers, and strengthening education here at home.

When was the last time the president pumped his own gas?
Our billionaire president may not care that gas prices are rising at a record pace, but working-class families certainly do.
