The House GOP broke several bipartisan agreements in their new CR, but I won't stand for a broken promise on DSH payments—funding for hospitals serving the poorest, like Regional One in #Memphis. I've fought for DSH & ROH (The Med) since the Obama Admin. and I won't stop now. I'm a NO on this CR.
If there is a government shutdown (looks likely) as musk and Trump have taken over the house then will there be an electoral College meeting on January6 and if not, will there be an inauguration? 45 if you wanna be 47 you better get to work on getting something done that the Democrats can vote for.

The Repub house is simply a branch of the Trump musk administration, and accordingly the c r to keep the government from shutting down is in jeopardy. This is project 2025 & their unified executive, with the all powerful “dictator on day 1” and the autocracy to follow.Take over Congress. It’s happening

Matt Gaetz said it was all a “witch hunt”, but the Ethics Committee called his bluff. Now we get to see if there was any truth to his accusations. More transparency, more accountability. More here with @danabrams1.bsky.social on @newsnation.bsky.social ⬇️

Pleased the Ethics Cmte. is releasing the #MattGaetz report, which I called for in a privileged resolution. If reports are right, the full document will soon be released. Gaetz questioned the integrity of the House with his "witch hunt" nonsense. The public deserves to know the truth—now they will.

@usdot.bsky.social is delivering on the accessibility reforms included in this year’s #FAA reauthorization—reforms rooted in my & Senator Tammy Duckworth's MOBILE Act. Proud to join Secretary Buttigieg to announce these major steps forward to protect passengers with disabilities. #DisabiltyRights

Robert Kennedy Jr. isn't a bad person. But he's absolutely the wrong person to lead HHS. The recent discourse on revoking the #PolioVaccine should prove that. I was one of polio's last victims, and I owe it to everyone who ever had serious illnesses like these to oppose #RFKJr's nomination.

I contacted polio within months of the Salk vaccine's availability, and I NEVER want to see someone deal with it again. Especially when we have the vaccine to fight it! RFKJr's fringe ideas on vaccines are disqualifying. Let him deal with food coloring, but we can't let him run HHS.

Health care professionals are on the front lines of identifying #HumanTrafficking. My SOAR Act ensures they have the training to recognize the signs and respond appropriately. Last night, the House voted to reauthorize this critical program. Watch my remarks👇 #EndHumanTrafficking

Trump said he's going to pardon some of the J6 prisoners at his inauguration. As someone who was in the gallery and then locked in my office in the early morning as insurrectionists tried to overthrow our government and beat police—some to the point of death—I cannot be a part of that spectacle.
