Hepatits B is a highly infectious virus that leads to chronic liver disease. The vaccine is safe, saves lives, and prevents cancer. This reckless decision will disproportionately harm Asian American communities, 1 in 12 of whom are chronically infected with hepatitis B.

I am outraged that RFK Jr.'s vaccine advisory panel voted 8-3 to drop the decades-old recommendation that all newborns get the hepatitis B vaccine at birth.

Lights, camera, action! 🍿🎥
Great meeting with Motion Picture Association CEO, Amb.
Charlie Rivkin, about supporting America’s film industry. That's why I’m fighting to extend and strengthen Section 181, the only federal incentive that keeps these jobs in the U.S.
Congrats to Pasadena's Motiv Space Systems, who will provide a robotic arm for an upcoming NASA mission! Their technology is helping shape the future of space navigation & exploration. I'll keep fighting to invest in science & maintain U.S. leadership in space. pasadenanow.com/main/pasaden...
The hep B vaccination is safe, saves lives, & prevents cancer. RFK’s decision is dangerous. It will also disproportionately harm Asian American communities, who are just 7% of the U.S. population yet account for 60% of Hep B cases. This admin is making clear just how little it values AANHPI health.
Trump has no plan to fix the affordability crisis because he doesn’t believe it’s real. Instead, he’s making it worse, premiums are doubling, groceries are up, and tariffs are squeezing families. Republicans defending this record should be ashamed.
On Dec 1, 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on a segregated bus.
Standing beside her statue, I’m reminded of her unwavering courage & determination. As the fight for justice continues, we look to her bravery as a guiding light and a call to action
Congress must hold this administration accountable by conducting full oversight of these operations and demanding the answers the American people deserve.
The Trump administration's strikes in Venezuela were ordered without Congress, without transparency, and without any justification to the public. These actions are reckless, unconstitutional, and dangerous for our national security.

Here in California’s 28th District, we’re lucky to have so many small businesses that contribute to our vibrant communities and economy. I encourage everyone to shop local this Small Business Saturday and throughout the holiday season!
Wishing everyone in #CA28 and across the country a very Happy Thanksgiving. I hope your day is filled with good food and quality time with the people who matter most.
I am heartbroken by the tragic news that two National Guard members were shot near the White House today. My thoughts are with the families and everyone affected as we learn more. This kind of senseless violence has no place in our country.
Trump weaponized the federal government by trying to install his unqualified personal attorney to target his political rivals. This ruling confirms those actions were unlawful & these baseless indictments are being thrown out. Let's continue to hold Trump accountable for his blatant abuses of power.

1/ Thank you to @congressmin.bsky.social and @chu.house.gov for leading 43 members of Congress in demanding answers on ICE’s failure to meet basic medical & notification standards which have led to 25 deaths since Jan 2025. This is a humanitarian crisis & must end now. min.house.gov/media/press-...
🦃 You’re not imagining it, Thanksgiving grocery prices are way up this year. President Trump’s economic policies are driving prices higher, pushing the cost of a full holiday meal up nearly 10%. I’ll keep fighting to roll back these harmful policies and lower costs for families.

That’s why I joined @congressmin.bsky.social today in leading a letter with 43 of our colleagues demanding accountability and transparency from DHS and ICE for this escalating pattern of negligence and abuse.
Since January, 25 people have died in ICE custody. Each of these deaths are horrific, preventable & demand our full attention.
Our bill would protect LGBTQ+ foster youth and expand the number of foster & adoptive families available by banning discrimination against individuals & couples on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or marital status.
