Every family deserves to be treated with dignity & respect, and every child the chance to grow up in a safe, stable, and loving home. That’s why I joined Reps. Danny Davis, Angie Craig, Gwen Moore & Senator Gillibrand to introduce the John Lewis Every Child Deserves a Family Act.

The President is calling for Democratic members of Congress to be hanged. This is deplorable, un-American, & an open invitation to political violence.
Servicemembers take their oath to the Constitution, not to any president. I stand with my colleagues who have honorably served this nation.

Today, we remember our transgender siblings taken too soon by acts of violence.
In their memories, we must all commit to ending anti-trans violence and countering the hate that inspires it. #TDOR
Today, I voted YES to finally release the Epstein files — the first step toward justice for the survivors.
Trump & Republicans fought this every step of the way. But Trump doesn’t need Congress — he could make the files public right now. The American people deserve the truth.
In just 7 weeks, 24 million Americans will see their premiums skyrocket. Losing insurance isn't an option for families like Kelly's, my constituent, whose partner relies on coverage to manage chronic disease.
Trump & Republicans knew that & still refused to extend ACA tax credits.
‼️LA County residents‼️
@nws.noaa.gov has issued a flood watch for LA County burn scar areas through Sunday morning. TONIGHT, please take precautions to evacuate and immediately follow all evacuation or shelter-in-place protocol.

Hardworking Americans are footing the bill for Trump’s illegal tariffs. A new report shows the average household has paid $700 more due to inflation since January - and Californians paid $1,112 more. Promises made. Promises broken. www.jec.senate.gov/public/_cach...
Finally! Welcome Rep. Adelita Grijalva, I'm so excited to work with you.
Now let's see those files!
I’m voting NO on this CR.
Trump & House Rs shut down the government, took an 8-week vacation, and came back with a bill that does nothing to fix the health care nightmare they created. 24 million Americans will now pay 2–3x more for health insurance. It's disgraceful.
I joined Young & Healthy in Pasadena—a Covered CA Navigator Site—to hear how their clients rely on ACA tax credits to afford coverage for themselves & their families. I’ll never stop fighting to ensure quality, affordable care for all Americans.
We’re on day 40 of the GOP shutdown because Trump & Republicans are making health care more expensive. 20M Americans face skyrocketing premiums after Republicans blocked every Democratic fix. They found trillions for billionaires but not to extend ACA tax credits. I’m voting NO.

House Democrats are fighting to save health care and protect SNAP.
Because no one should ever have to worry about seeing a doctor or going hungry.
Once again, a judge has ordered the Trump Administration to uphold the law and pay full SNAP benefits.
And what’s their response? Appeal it. Trump is fighting in court to stop 42 million hungry Americans from getting food.

Our nation is stronger because of Nancy Pelosi’s remarkable leadership. She’s spent her entire trailblazing career fighting fearlessly for what’s right and never backing down. I’m deeply proud to call Nancy an idol, a mentor, a colleague and a friend. Thank you, Madam Speaker.

Open Enrollment is underway, but premiums are skyrocketing for nearly 2 MILLION Californians because Republicans refuse to extend ACA tax credits.
While Republicans deliberately hike premiums for working families, Democrats are fighting to reopen the government & lower health costs.
Trump and Secretary Rollins have the power to fully fund SNAP in November using contingency funds. They are choosing not to.
