Thank you for sharing your story, @kim.senate.gov . I know from my own family how tough an Alzheimer's diagnosis can be. My prayers are with you and your father, and your whole family, as you navigate this journey together.
A few weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I won’t lie—it's been incredibly challenging for me and my family. Now, I’m embarking on a journey to answer the questions so many of us face when it comes to providing care for our loved ones. I hope you’ll join me.
Trump and Stephen Miller are going after Dreamers who have worked hard every day to build their lives in the country they grew up in. I'm standing up with my Senate colleagues to fight for the Dream Act and the pathway to citizenship Dreamers deserve.
Senate and House Democrats just forced passage of a bill to release the Epstein Files. Republicans in Congress have stalled justice for months. If Donald Trump is serious about being transparent with the American people, he needs to sign this bill as soon as it reaches his desk.
While Americans struggle with rising costs, this White House is finding new ways to enrich itself every day. The corruption and shamelessness is unbelievable.
One week after Trump pardoned Binance’s owner (for a stunning array of crimes related to terrorist and sex predator financing), Binance starts promoting Trump crypto. The White House is a full time, 24/7 corruption machine.
The FCC threatening a broadcaster unless they cancel a show over the host's comments is a direct attack on every American's freedom of speech. This isn't about Jimmy Kimmel, it's about our rights. This action is un-American.
President Trump and Stephen Miller are going after the DACA program and putting Dreamers at risk of deportation to advance their cruel mass deportation scheme. But I'm standing up to hold this administration accountable and fight for the future Dreamers deserve.
I've met many of our incredible Dreamers all across Nevada. They're entrepreneurs, nurses, teachers, and hardworking Nevadans who contribute every day to our communities. These are the people that the Trump Admin. is now trying to target and intimidate, and it's outrageous.
Resources for Hispanic-Serving Institutions fund new labs, equipment, and support services that help students of every background succeed. That's why I'm calling on the Trump Admin. to end their attempt to eliminate HSI investments in our students' futures.
Republicans handed Big Pharma a win by exempting cancer drugs families need from Medicare negotiations in their tax law. I asked RFK Jr. why he supported that law despite claiming to take on Big Pharma, but he doesn't know the basics about his own agency enough to answer.
DACA protects people who were brought to this country as children and gives them the stability they need to continue contributing to our communities. It's time for the Trump Admin. to stop wrongfully targeting DACA recipients.
Veterans could face longer and longer waits for health care and benefits services as a result of the mass-firings at the VA. But when I asked the Trump Admin. for a plan to prevent our veterans from being harmed by their reckless actions, they were silent.
I just finished a delicious lunch at Gritz Cafe and had the chance to speak with the owner, Trina Jiles, about her business. She is an incredible entrepreneur and Las Vegas leader that has made Gritz Cafe into a pillar of the Historic Westside, and I'm excited to come back again soon!
