Today, the Supreme Court upheld a fundamental American value: if you’re born in the United States, you’re an American citizen. There is no question – birthright citizenship has been and will continue to be a part of our Constitution. It’s past time for the attacks on our nation’s core ideals to end.
Americans have waited long enough for action to lower housing costs. Republicans and Democrats came together on a bill that will help working families afford their homes. Donald Trump needs to get out of the way of lower costs for Americans.

It’s still hard to believe. Even though millions of Americans are struggling to pay their mortgages and rent, Donald Trump walked away minutes before he was supposed to sign a bipartisan housing affordability bill this week.
I was sounding the alarm for weeks before Trump’s so-called “Liberation Day” that his reckless tariffs would hurt our economy.
He went ahead with these job-killing blanket taxes, and American workers are paying the price.
Trump’s war of choice is driving up costs for Nevada families and making it harder for workers to make ends meet. But it’s obvious he doesn’t care.
Don’t let Trump shirk responsibility – it’s because of his refusal to sign bipartisan housing legislation that action to lower housing costs is being held up.
This bill was passed almost unanimously in Congress. He needs to get out of the way of bringing costs down for families.
