My STEM Scholars Program application deadline is just one week away! Don’t miss your opportunity to take part in a meaningful summer experience that helps shape your future career in STEM.
This week, I visited St. Cletus Parish Food Pantry to meet with the dedicated staff and volunteers preparing for distribution. Seeing their work firsthand is a powerful reminder of how vital these services are.
Despite signing the largest cut to health care in history just last year, the president wants to enact even further cuts to pay for his war.
The president does not care about what is best for the American people.
The deadline for my Congressional Art Competition is quickly approaching! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have your artwork displayed in our nation's Capitol.
Head over to my website for details on the application.
I was proud to secure $250,000 in federal funding for the Village of Crestwood to support a critical water main replacement for IL-06 because investments like this are essential to keeping our communities safe and running smoothly.
It’s long overdue that we have an energy policy in this country that puts consumers first, EBRA does just that. By strengthening consumer protections and ensuring large energy users pay their fair share, millions of Americans will be protected from price gouging.
I recently had the opportunity to join Pathlights in Palos Heights, a community organization supporting older adults, people with disabilities, and their families with resources to live independently.
Pathlights provides essential services, including meals, to residents across six townships.
The president’s threat to wipe out an entire civilization is dangerous, reckless, and would constitute a war crime under both domestic and international law. Anyone in the Trump Administration who acts on this threat and violates the law must be held accountable, including criminal liability.
Join me this Wednesday at 7pm CT for a virtual town hall to talk about the issues that matter most to you. I’ll be sharing updates, answering your questions, and hearing directly from our community.

The SAVE Act isn’t about election security; it’s about voter suppression. Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans want to create unnecessary barriers that could strip eligible Americans of their right to vote and make our democracy less accessible, not more.
The more we do to improve the energy efficiency of our economy, the less we have to worry about volatile global oil markets or the economic harm of a president starting a war without a strategy or exit plan.

This morning, I visited Village Theatre Guild in Glen Ellyn, a community theatre with roots dating back to 1917, now in its 62nd season.
It’s inspiring to see how it continues to bring people together and foster creativity, reminder of why supporting the arts matters.
Transgender people have always been, and will always be, part of our society.
I’m proud to uplift trans voices today and every day, and I’ll keep fighting for their rights in Congress.
Travel plans shouldn’t get stuck in red tape.
If you’re dealing with passport delays, travel emergencies, or issues with federal agencies, my office is here to help you get back on track.
Last year, Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans cut Medicare and Medicaid to give billionaires a tax cut.
Now, they want to cut health care even further to pay for their war.
The American people deserve better. We must end this war and stop these cuts.

House Republicans are rejecting a bipartisan funding bill to pay workers at the TSA, FEMA & the Coast Guard.
Speaker Johnson is instead choosing to continue the chaos at airports, all in the name of handing ICE a blank check with no accountability.
Shameful.

The Energy Bills Relief Act will help lower costs by:
✅ Restoring clean energy tax credits
✅ Preventing utility shutoffs
✅ Incentivizing utilities to save consumers money
✅ Protecting American consumers from price gouging
✅ Making sure you don’t pay to power data centers
Trust in the Supreme Court has cratered. When decisions appear inconsistent, when power goes unchecked, and when accountability is in question, confidence in the courts erodes.
Here’s my Op-Ed on how to fix it:
