September is Suicide Prevention Month. I am proud to continue fighting for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline funding to provide support to Americans who need it. You are never alone. If you are struggling, please call or text 988 for help.
Sikorsky has built the finest helicopters in the world since opening over a century ago—all proudly made in Connecticut. I'm proud to announce a new $10.855 billion contract, which will support local high-paying jobs, boosting the CT economy & strengthening our national defense.
President Trump’s reckless tariffs are causing chaos and raising already high costs for hardworking Americans and seniors. From prescription drugs to your morning coffee — his actions take more money out of your pocket to reward his billionaire friends.
No one should have to live in a home that doesn't meet the bare minimum of their needs. Park Ridge residents deserve more from their landlord— like basic safety & security. I’ll continue to work with my Senate colleagues to ensure tenant complaints & issues are resolved.
Trump stands for no one but himself. He cares for nothing but his own gain. And he will not stop with James Comey. Anyone he holds a grudge against could be next. That’s the real danger here.
September is #FoodSafetyEducationMonth, meaning it would be a great time for Boar's Head to educate the Congressional Food Safety Caucus on its plans to reopen their Jarratt, VA facility & why they continue ignoring basic food safety.
Thanks to the Republican controlled government, 20,000 people in CT-03 will see a HUGE increase in their health care costs. I will keep fighting to stop Republicans from taking away your coverage! This is an outrage.
This is exactly why the Office of Management and Budget must have an independent, dedicated Inspector General so that OMB can be held accountable before more damage is done to families and communities across the country. (3/3)
Instead of coming to the table to negotiate lowering costs and addressing the health care crisis Republicans created, the White House is staging harmful charades like this that will impact all Americans. (2/3)
Protecting the First Amendment isn’t a partisan issue– it’s an American issue. Defending free expression must unite us. Attempts by the Trump Administration to silence or punish those who speak out against the administration undermine the foundation of our country.
Scientists and doctors agree that Tylenol is one of few safe pain relievers available to women during their pregnancy. President Trump & RFK Jr's baseless claims should not be taken seriously.
Attorney General William Tong & I stopped by Hamden to highlight the harmful impacts of reckless tariffs on small businesses like Superior Spring. We are living through a cost of living crisis, & Trump is making it worse. I will keep fighting against these disastrous trade policies.
President Trump and Republicans put our communities at risk by gutting food assistance programs in their Big Ugly Law. Now they’re dodging accountability by eliminating a report that tracks hunger in America.
It was an honor to meet with the new Italian Ambassador, Marco Peronaci! As co-chair of the Italian American Congressional Delegation, I am committed to strengthening U.S.-Italy relations to maintain our important alliance.

This week, @delauro.house.gov and @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social reintroduced the FAMILY Act – legislation that would create a universal paid family and medical leave program. If our leaders really want to support working families in this economic crisis, they can start here.
Congratulations to New Haven’s cherished Claire’s Corner Copia on 50 outstanding years. Claire, thank you for all you do for your customers and your dedicated staff. Your one-of-a-kind dedication, vision, and creativity is undoubtedly the recipe to your success.
The closure of PosiGen's operations in CT and the loss of nearly 80 jobs is just the latest casualty of Trump's policies.    The administration's reckless & destructive attacks on clean energy continue to cost working families - lost jobs and higher electric bills.
