Great catching up with UConn President Dr. Radenka Maric - lots of March Madness on and off the Hill today. Wishing our Huskies a good game tonight!
Electric Boat & NHPS have entered a strong partnership, enabled by $2 million in federal funding for NHPS’ manufacturing program. This is a success for the 46 hard-working students who received a job offer yesterday & for EB & will keep CT at the cutting edge of manufacturing.

#EqualPayDay is a reminder that women still have to work longer and harder to earn what men do. It’s a gap we must close by passing Rep. @delauro.house.gov's Paycheck Fairness Act. When we organize, hold the line, and demand better, we can make real progress. @demwomencaucus.bsky.social
On average, women earn just 76 cents for every dollar paid to men—and the gender wage gap is even wider for women of color. I won't stop fighting until Congress passes my Paycheck Fairness Act & ends this disparity for good!
I am proud to announce $2.5 million in federal funding for development in downtown Naugatuck. This funding will enhance connectivity in the heart of Naugatuck, creating walkable spaces within reach of both the river and the forthcoming new train station.
Thank you to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater New Haven for providing a safe & welcoming place for children to learn & grow. Yesterday, their Youth of the Year celebration honored four finalists for their excellence, leadership, & service to the community. Congratulations!
Raw Farms is refusing to recall their cheese – even as Americans have fallen ill to E. coli. This is outrageous and not how the system is supposed to work. The FDA must force a recall and prioritize consumer health. Get it off the shelves – now!
I had the pleasure of joining a naturalization ceremony in New Haven. As a daughter of immigrants, I know the significance of this achievement & the love for our country that it requires. We are a nation of immigrants & I am so proud to have welcomed those new Americans.

President Trump was approached with a deal that would fund the law-abiding parts of DHS, pay TSA workers, and ensure our airports operate as normal. But he said no. He owns the current chaos at American airports.
President Trump: *Casts vote by mail in Florida election* Also President Trump: *Doubles down on crusade to severely restrict mail-in voting nationwide* Trump is aware mail-in voting is secure & effective, but his hypocrisy knows no bounds.
22 million Americans, including thousands in Connecticut, are struggling to afford health care because Republicans refused to extend enhanced ACA tax credits. We must restore these credits & strengthen the ACA so that all Americans have access to affordable, quality health care.
Americans are experiencing a cost of living crisis. For many families, their biggest challenge is the constantly rising cost of healthcare. President Trump is refusing to throw them a lifeline. In fact, he is making it worse. www.cthealthnews.com/articles/fed...
Gas prices are up by 30%—and if Trump continues his war in Iran, families could be paying $700/year more in household expenses. Americans want action to the cost-of-living crisis here at home, not more blood and treasure spent overseas.
