1. Elon Musk pours nearly $300 million into electing Donald Trump 2. DOGE takes over contracting at key government agencies 3. Musk lines his pockets with taxpayer $$$ This is corruption, plain and simple. The American people won't stand for it.
Elon Musk has called Social Security a "ponzi scheme" and DOGE is working overtime to sabotage the program—including trying to end claims processing over the phone, which millions of Americans rely on to get their earned benefits. (1/2)
Within the last week and a half alone, I’ve heard from my constituents and took whatever questions they had at: a packed town hall, a senior center lunch, a Ramadan event with the Muslim community, a high school civics student Q&A…(1/2)
Dismantling the Dept. of Education will hurt our students and families. That’s just a fact. Here’s a story that a constituent shared with me. I’ll stand my ground and fight back against these cruel, harmful cuts.
A social media graphic that says:
"I am a school board director at a small, low-income school district. Our school relies on Title I funding. Approximately 50% of our students are at or below the poverty line. If the Department of Education is dismantled and we cannot operate our schools, a lot of our children will not be able to pay for a good private school. If free lunch is taken away, a lot of our children will not eat that day...The students in my district are my responsibility, and I take it seriously to keep them safe, fed, and enriched in their learning journeys.”

I'm a guy who believes that we should find common ground where we can. But you stand your ground when it’s time to fight for our people. That's the kind of fighting spirit we need when dealing with this Administration.
Thank you to members of the Western PA Muslim community for honoring me with an invite to join an Iftar break fast meal. And always good to talk about issues on the mind of #PA17’s Muslim community. Ramadan Mubarak!
Want to fight corruption? Then we need to get unlimited corporate money OUT of politics. Corporate power doesn’t just happen—it’s enabled by pliable politicians and a Supreme Court that signs off on unlimited super PAC money.
Republican politicians want to gut Medicaid and rip healthcare away from over 110,000 of our neighbors. Listen to some of their stories of what this would mean. I'm fighting back to save Medicaid and stop more tax handouts to billionaires and big corporations on the backs of people's healthcare.
Every veteran who served wrote this country a blank check. In return, we make a sacred promise that our government will take care of them when they come home. The VA Secretary is saying the planned firing of 80,000 VA workers won’t hurt veteran care—he's full of crap. This is a betrayal.
ICYMI, there was a big win in the fight against the corrupt plundering of our govt. NLRB member Gwynne Wilcox was illegally fired from her position, undermining the board's ability to hold corporations & robber barons accountable when they violate workers' rights. She sued in federal court, and won.
On Tuesday I voted against the bad Republican spending bill that today cleared the Senate. This bill defunds our cops, takes away promised money for my fellow toxic-exposed veterans, cuts NIH funding, and so much more. (1/2)
What a great turnout for our Town Hall tonight in Kennedy Township! Thanks to all the folks who came out to ask questions and participate in our democracy. If you missed it, we'll have the recording posted on YouTube and my website in the next 24 hours.
