House Republicans once again gave up their constitutional role over trade to Trump, capitulating to the largest tax hike on Americans in history. His tariffs have slowed growth, cost jobs, & sunk consumer confidence, yet Republicans are too afraid to stand up to him.

Appreciated meeting with @evergreenhealth.bsky.social Monroe, Skagit Regional Health, & @wahospitals.bsky.social to discuss health care priorities in Snohomish County & across our region, including access, affordability, & support for rural communities.
Exciting news for East King County! The Eastrail network continues to grow with the Redmond Central Connector extension. I helped secure $1.1M for this project, which will connect 4 cities & bring our communities closer together. Grateful to see this project officially open.
Republicans control the House, Senate, & White House. If we want to avoid a shutdown, they need to come to the table. I’ll keep pushing for bipartisan solutions that keep our government open & working for families.

The 2-Line made history this week as the world’s first light rail system to run on a floating bridge! 🚆 On Tuesday, a train crossed the I-90 bridge using its own power — a huge step toward opening in early 2026.

President Trump & Republicans are attacking our health care system. @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social @governorferguson.bsky.social & @repkimschrier.bsky.social joined me in Bellevue to highlight what this means for families in WA & across the country.
At Overlake Medical Center, I was joined by @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social @governorferguson.bsky.social @repkimschrier.bsky.social & others to call out Trump & Republicans for raising health care costs & cutting off coverage by letting ACA subsidies expire. We’re fighting to keep care affordable.
Met with the Port of Everett to discuss how tariffs are hurting WA’s economy & turning cargo ships away from our ports. I’m going to keep fighting to protect WA’s ports, jobs, & economy.
Those on WA Health Plan Finder could see premiums spike by 65% next year due to Republican cuts to health care & premium tax credits.
When you see the new rates, I want to hear from you. Share your story at DelBene.house.gov/ShareYourStory
Political violence has no place in America. My heart goes out to Charlie Kirk, his family, & everyone impacted by this horrific act.
Great to have @uwbothell.bsky.social students in DC today. Always appreciate the opportunity to hear from young people about issues they care deeply about.
Share your photos of price tags and bills with #Trumpflation to show the realities families are facing and push for real solutions.
Trump's policies are a threat to Americans’ wellbeing, with #Trumpflation jacking up costs for families already struggling with higher prices.
Veterans deserve the full range of health care, not political interference. I joined my Democratic colleagues in calling on the VA to reverse its near-total ban on abortion & counseling. Those who served our country deserve access to the care they need.
It’s time, 12s! 🏈 The @seahawksofficial.com are back & opening their season today against the 49ers. Let’s bring the energy—Go Hawks! 💙💚

Trump’s tariffs are the biggest tax hike on working families in nearly a century. They raise prices on everyday goods, harm small businesses, & slow our economy. Republicans promised to lower costs & all they have done is raise them.
Month after month, Trump’s tariffs & economic policies are drying up job openings & damaging our economy. Today’s meager jobs report—and previous months now showing job LOSSES—highlights the real cost to Americans.
Trump’s tariffs are driving up grocery bills & families are paying the price.
