Debbie Dingell

Deborah Ann Dingell is an American politician serving as a U.S. representative from Michigan since 2015, representing the state's 6th congressional district since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, she succeeded her late husband, John Dingell, who was the longest-serving member of Congress in U.S. history.

Joined AFGE at a rally outside the Detroit VA to oppose the staff terminations that risk veterans' care. We should be helping the VA recruit and retain a qualified workforce ― not dismantling it.
Today, I gave my annual Ann Arbor State of the District to the A2Y Regional Chamber. Talked about in real-time things happening in Washington, D.C. that are impacting our district and state. There are many issues of concern.
Public television stations provide an irreplaceable service by sharing public safety, educational, and local programming, every day, for free.   We must continue to invest in public broadcasting, which benefits every American, especially those in rural communities.
Tonight, House Republicans chose Trump and Elon Musk over the American people and voted to cut Medicaid. The fight isn’t over. House Democrats we will continue to do everything we can to protect Americans’ health care.
Medicare Telehealth services end April 1, which will make accessing health care harder for millions of seniors, children, rural Americans, and people who can’t afford transportation.   Telehealth is helping Americans get the care they need—why are Republicans taking that away?
