Donald Trump said out loud that he would rather dump a billion dollars a day on a war with Iran than pay for child care here at home. So much for America first.
The 30-year Treasury yield just hit its highest level since 2007 — right before the financial crisis. That means more expensive mortgages. Costlier car loans. Higher credit card interest rates. Trump promised to lower costs. His reckless agenda is doing the opposite.
Gas is over $4.50 a gallon. Grocery prices had the biggest one-month jump in nearly four years. Electricity bills are up by as much as 13%. Naturally, today, Senate Republicans are taking your tax dollars and trying to pour it into Trump's ballroom.
BREAKING: A handful of Senate Republicans are finally starting to join Democrats to pull the emergency brake and end Trump’s war with Iran. Now is the moment to keep pushing. Call your members of Congress.
NEW report shows Trump is spending $1 billion a day on war with Iran while military families pay the price at home. With sky-high grocery prices, military families are relying on local food pantries and emergency grocery support programs to put food on the table. Disgraceful.
This is an unprecedented level of corruption. Trump is forcing the government to drop ALL tax audits of him, his family, and his businesses—giving him FULL IMMUNITY from prosecution. What is Trump hiding from the American people? Congress must step up and stop this corruption.
Trump gets: - $100M arch - $1B ballroom fund - A gold coin with his face on it - A $1.8B slush fund for his MAGA buddies Meanwhile, he's left Americans with higher grocery bills, higher health care costs, and higher gas prices.
Today's shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego is horrific. Every American should be able to worship without having to worry about their safety. Tonight, I’m holding all of those impacted in my heart.
What could you do with $1 billion? Feed kids. Lower insulin costs. Let people file taxes for free. Instead, Republicans wants to spend it on a gold-encrusted ballroom.
