Happy #WomensHistoryMonth! This month and every month, let us celebrate the generations of women who shaped and strengthened our country for the better. Let’s honor the legacy of these trailblazers by continuing to fight for justice and equality for all!
It’s Day 3 of this war, and President Trump & his administration have yet to answer the basic questions of “Why now?” and “What’s next?” consistently or coherently. I want to stop more troops or innocent civilians from being put in harm’s way and will vote for the bipartisan War Powers Resolution.
These escalations only put American lives, at home and abroad, at greater risk and drag our country towards another endless war.   The House and Senate must each vote on a War Powers resolution immediately to stop Trump's reckless warmongering. (2/2)
I strongly disagree with VP Vance’s claim yesterday that there is “no chance” that military strikes would result in the U.S. becoming involved in an ill-conceived forever war. I will vote for the War Powers Resolution when it comes to the House floor to rein this reckless administration in!
Dr. Constance E. Clayton made history as the first Black and first female superintendent of the School District of Philadelphia. A preeminent educator, she relentlessly believed in what students could achieve. This #BlackHistoryMonth, I’m proud to lead legislation honoring her incredible legacy.
If President Trump were ACTUALLY focused on helping working families, like my constituent Carolyn’s, he would reverse his drastic cuts to SNAP, fully restore the Child Tax Credit, and remove his tariff-taxes that are continuing to drive up the costs of everyday goods!
I'm interested in listening to the lived experience of my constituents, not President Trump’s vanity exercise. That’s why, this morning, I spoke with Carolyn Hill, a North Philly grandmother raising three of her grandchildren, who is being impacted by Trump’s cuts to SNAP. (1/3)
You might pay MORE if you use "TrumpRx"! The nearly half a million Pennsylvanians who are currently seeing sky-high health insurance premiums don’t want a hollow, do-nothing website. They need the critical tax credits that made their health care affordable to be restored!
