Donald Trump promised he would lower prices on day one and start no new wars. Over a year into his second term, working Americans are paying the prices of his broken promises.
President Trump promised to bring inflation down. But his policies keep pushing prices up. The war on Iran increased gas prices by over 50 percent. Higher energy costs drove up the price of airfares and goods that move by truck, including groceries. https://wapo.st/4tzgtMi
Trump could use $1,700,000,000 to help Americans struggling to afford the higher gas and grocery prices his policies caused. But this grifter president would rather funnel taxpayer dollars to January 6th insurrectionists and his political allies. His corruption has no limits.
🚨 Make sure your ballot is counted in Tuesday’s election! 🚨 @phillyvotes.bsky.social has identified nearly 600 ballots with various issues that can prevent them from being counted. See the list of ballots with errors & learn how to fix the issues or get a replacement ballot here:
After gutting SNAP food assistance, President Trump and congressional Republicans NOW want to slash funding to WIC — taking nutritious food away from mothers, infants, and children. These cuts are unnecessary and cruel, and I’ll continue to fight them in Congress!
Philly moms and babies would face steep cuts to the federal WIC nutrition program if GOP bill passes. The Trump administration wants to decrease a mother's allotments for fruits and vegetables from $52 to $13 a month. 🔗 www.inquirer.com/politics/p...
I’m proud to reintroduce the VICTIM Act with Rep. Bacon, Senator Kennedy, and Senator Booker! This bipartisan, bicameral bill would help state and local police solve more shooting cases and provide victims and family members with aid and resources they need.
The largest ever settlement or jury award for government violations of constitutional rights to a single person is $100 million, or 1 percent of what Trump demanding for the leak of his tax returns. That case -- a killing by police -- was reduced to $1 million on appeal.
The president is negotiating against his own administration to shake down taxpayers for $10 billion. The corruption meter is flashing red and sounding the alarm. ca.news.yahoo.com/doj-consider...
Donald Trump just said the quiet part out loud!
He doesn’t care about how his war of choice or tariff-taxes hurt your wallet – “not even a little bit.” Democrats in Congress will keep fighting to stop both of those because we DO care.
Trump on Iran War: Reporter: What extent are Americans’ financial situation motivating you to make a deal? Trump: Not even a little bit. I don't think about Americans’ financial situation
Instead of a billion-dollar ballroom, American families need REAL relief from the gas and grocery price hikes Trump’s war and tariff-taxes caused. Philadelphians have endured gas price hikes of $1.50 per gallon or more because of Trump's war!
