After weeks of delay, Senate Republicans finally joined Democrats to pass legislation funding the law-abiding DHS agencies, like TSA, without a blank check for ICE and CBP.
Speaker Johnson must immediately bring this clean bill up for a vote. Workers deserve to be paid NOW!

It's 2026 and women are STILL earning less than men for the same work.
Equal pay shouldn’t be a question — it should be the standard.
As the gender pay gap continues to widen, I’m proudly cosponsoring the Paycheck Fairness Act and fighting for fair wages for ALL. #EqualPayDay

Thanks to Trump’s economic policies, the rich are getting richer — all while working families are struggling to afford the rising costs of gas, groceries, and health care.
By the end of this week, Trump’s reckless war of choice will already have cost taxpayers upwards of $25,000,000,000.
Americans want lower gas and grocery prices, not pay the price of another forever war.
While Republicans continue trying to rip these protections away, I’m fighting to protect the ACA and ensure ALL Americans can afford quality health care.
If you are impacted by the GOP’s disastrous health care policies — I want to hear from you! Share your story with my office here:
“If it weren’t for the ACA, I wouldn’t have been able to get the diagnoses and care I need to live,” one Philadelphian told my office.
Thanks to this landmark legislation, millions of Pennsylvanians with a pre-existing condition no longer have to fear being denied health care coverage.
Instead of paying our dedicated TSA agents, Donald Trump is recklessly sending ICE agents into airports across the country.
The Senate had a deal to reopen the law-abiding DHS agencies, like TSA, and pay workers NOW — but Trump rejected it. This shutdown is on him.
While President Trump and congressional Republicans are trying to tear down this progress, House Democrats are fighting back to ensure all Americans have access to quality, affordable health care. (2/2)
16 years ago, the Affordable Care Act revolutionized health care. This landmark legislation lowered costs, expanded health care access, and protected the millions of Americans with pre-existing conditions. (1/2)
Instead of extending the critical ACA tax credits that nearly 500,000 Pennsylvanians relied on to afford their health care coverage, President Trump built a smoke and mirrors website that offers new savings on... ONE prescription drug.
Since enhanced ACA premium tax credits expired, premiums have more than doubled on average for roughly 22 million people.

I signed House Democrats’ discharge petition to force a vote on funding the law-abiding DHS agencies, like TSA, and pay workers NOW.
As TSA agents are working without pay, this is a common-sense step while negotiations on reforming ICE and CBP continue. Will any House Republicans join us?
Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating in Philadelphia and around the world!
May this Eid al-Fitr bring you and your loved ones joy, peace, and happiness!
In Philly and beyond, working families are struggling to afford the rising costs of gas, groceries, and health care.
Yet the Trump-Vance administration wants to spend $200,000,000,000 MORE on their illegal, reckless war of choice. Their priorities could not be clearer.
This GOP voter suppression bill does nothing to “save” America.
It would make it harder for American citizens, including married women, service members, and voters of color, to reach the ballot box.
I voted against it in the House and urge the Senate to do the same.
Trump and congressional Republicans let the ACA tax credits expire, and now the effects are rippling through our health care system:
❌At least a million Americans being forced to go without insurance.
❌Hospitals at risk of closure.
❌Costs spiking across the board.
I’ll be signing House Democrats' discharge petition to force a vote on funding most of DHS to pay workers NOW at the law-abiding agencies while negotiations continue. (2/2)
