After weeks of delay, Senate Republicans finally joined Democrats to pass legislation funding the law-abiding DHS agencies, like TSA, without a blank check for ICE and CBP. Speaker Johnson must immediately bring this clean bill up for a vote. Workers deserve to be paid NOW!

It's 2026 and women are STILL earning less than men for the same work. Equal pay shouldn’t be a question — it should be the standard. As the gender pay gap continues to widen, I’m proudly cosponsoring the Paycheck Fairness Act and fighting for fair wages for ALL. #EqualPayDay
Thanks to Trump’s economic policies, the rich are getting richer — all while working families are struggling to afford the rising costs of gas, groceries, and health care.
The divide between the rich and the poor in America is widening. The wealth held by the top 1% increased by more than double the rate of the bottom 90% in the first nine months of last year, according to federal data.
By the end of this week, Trump’s reckless war of choice will already have cost taxpayers upwards of $25,000,000,000. Americans want lower gas and grocery prices, not pay the price of another forever war.
“If it weren’t for the ACA, I wouldn’t have been able to get the diagnoses and care I need to live,” one Philadelphian told my office. Thanks to this landmark legislation, millions of Pennsylvanians with a pre-existing condition no longer have to fear being denied health care coverage.
Instead of paying our dedicated TSA agents, Donald Trump is recklessly sending ICE agents into airports across the country. The Senate had a deal to reopen the law-abiding DHS agencies, like TSA, and pay workers NOW — but Trump rejected it. This shutdown is on him.
Instead of extending the critical ACA tax credits that nearly 500,000 Pennsylvanians relied on to afford their health care coverage, President Trump built a smoke and mirrors website that offers new savings on... ONE prescription drug.
Since enhanced ACA premium tax credits expired, premiums have more than doubled on average for roughly 22 million people. Trump's "TrumpRx" solution? A curated directory of manufacturer coupons, nearly all of which were already available through preexisting channels. https://ampr.gs/4uq9abs
I signed House Democrats’ discharge petition to force a vote on funding the law-abiding DHS agencies, like TSA, and pay workers NOW. As TSA agents are working without pay, this is a common-sense step while negotiations on reforming ICE and CBP continue. Will any House Republicans join us?
In Philly and beyond, working families are struggling to afford the rising costs of gas, groceries, and health care. Yet the Trump-Vance administration wants to spend $200,000,000,000 MORE on their illegal, reckless war of choice. Their priorities could not be clearer.
Exclusive: The Pentagon asked the White House to approve a more than $200 billion request to Congress to fund the war in Iran, according to an administration official, a new ask that will likely run into resistance from lawmakers opposed to the conflict.
Trump and congressional Republicans let the ACA tax credits expire, and now the effects are rippling through our health care system: ❌At least a million Americans being forced to go without insurance. ❌Hospitals at risk of closure. ❌Costs spiking across the board.
Already, one million fewer Americans are enrolled in ACA marketplace plans, and that's just "the tip of the iceberg."
