Not only did they fail to eliminate “waste, fraud, and abuse,” they cost millions of hardworking Americans their jobs – including many of our neighbors – and cut crucial services for the American people.
A report by the GAO just revealed what we all knew to be true: DOGE’s work was riddled with errors and they fell drastically short of their cost-saving goals. www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2...

I know Ollie and I are excited for the new 10 miles of trails!
Great news for lovers of Patapsco Valley State Park which runs through the Third District!🌳 In 2024, Friends of Patapsco Valley State Park completed the first adaptive trail system in Maryland — and they continue to expand access so even more of our neighbors can enjoy the outdoors.
One of the best parts of the August District Work Period is being able to spend more time with folks on the ground in #MD03. Thank you again to all of our first responders, neighbors, local officials, and community organizations for incredible National Night Out celebrations across the District!
The last few weeks of summer are the perfect time to start thinking about the nomination process. If you or a young person you know is interested in attending a service academy, you can find more information and apply at the link below by Friday, October 2nd, 2026.

One of the highlights of my job is nominating our talented young people from #MD03 to our nation’s military academies. Last year, 31 of our incredible nominees were appointed to our distinguished service academies.
The President’s surprise is yet another example of his lack of forethought and strategy, which continues to put our troops in harm's way.
Even as a freshman member of the House Armed Services Committee, I’ve been well aware of the possibility of a munitions shortage well before President Trump’s reckless war in Iran.
That’s why in today’s edition of Sarah Explains It All, I’ll be answering one of your questions about what Congress is doing to protect our free and fair elections.
As the President continues to sow distrust in our electoral systems, I’ve been hearing almost every day from neighbors who are concerned about election security ahead of November.
➡️Before being pressured by the Senate to walk back his plans, he agreed to create a $1.8 billion slush fund to pay off President Trump’s allies and violent insurrectionists.
But you don’t have to take my word for it. Here’s his record:
➡️Fighting to restrict abortion access and make Dobbs “permanent in every single state.”
➡️Oversaw and implemented the Trump Administration’s repulsive coverup of the Epstein Files.
Todd Blanche’s top client is President Trump, not the American people. Over his last 18th months as Deputy and Acting Attorney General, he has undermined the Department of Justice’s important mission, and it is clear he lacks the integrity and impartiality required to serve as Attorney General.
