Great news—the Senate passed the Social Security Fairness Act, which means it’s heading to President Biden's desk! This will finally repeal the WEP and GPO penalties that unfairly reduce benefits for police officers, firefighters, and other public servants.

I was also proud to deliver a Congressional Record Statement that celebrates the achievement of Tristen and Sawyer, who recently placed 5th at the World Robot Olympiad International Finals where they competed against teams from 90 countries!
More great news for Illinois! IBM's decision means more investment--and most importantly, more good jobs--for the Chicagoland area. I applaud Governor Pritzker for working tirelessly to position our state as a global leader in quantum computing research and innovation.
