Thank you to the Motion Picture Association and Walt Disney Co. for hosting a screening of a great American movie, National Treasure and to Jon Voight and my fellow Members of Congress for the bipartisan conversations about how we keep production in America. (2/3)
To AG Bondi & FBI Director Kash Patel, I'll be formally requesting all these files shortly. Instead of spending all this time defending criminals, you should be following the law we passed. No more excuses. No more coverups.
Trump is so desperate to cling to power that he’s willing to trample on your fundamental right to vote. I want to remind my Congressional Republican colleagues of the oath we all took when we were sworn into office. That oath was to uphold the Constitution – not one man’s commands.
Trump's FDA is so anti-science that Moderna isn’t able to invest in lifesaving vaccine trials for illnesses like shingles, herpes, and Epstein-Barr virus. Instead of being an advocate for better health outcomes, this administration continues to put the health of Americans dead last.
Instead of investing in affordable healthcare, Republicans gave ICE more of YOUR $ to violate YOUR constitutional rights. I am fighting to hold ICE accountable, impeach Sec. Noem, and end ICE immunity from lawsuits. Read more about our efforts in Pasadena Now:
I'll be going to view the unredacted Epstein files later this week. Comment links and EFTA # s for the files you want me to look at. I refuse to let the Trump admin deny victims the justice they deserve.
We are witnessing the Trump Admin’s cover up of the Epstein horrors in real time. But the victims will get justice. We won’t let them be forgotten or the truth remain buried.
Good morning. The President of the United States was in the middle of the most serious child sex trafficking ring of the last quarter century. He is referenced not a dozen times in the case files. Not 100 times. Not 1,000 times. He’s referenced 38,000 times.
While the Trump Administration spends its time punishing children and parents by withholding childcare aid, Democrats are fighting to make your future better. That includes building more housing, lowering rent, and making life much more affordable. Read on in the LA Times:
#TeamFriedman was honored to attend the City of West Hollywood’s annual city council reorganization ceremony. Congratulations to Mayor John Heilman and Vice Mayor Danny Hang, who will no doubt lead West Hollywood well.
What an honor to swear my friend Nikki Perez into her new role on the California Film Commission. Nikki has been a champion for Burbank and the entertainment industry workers that call the city home, so her appointment is very well deserved. I wish her the best of luck!
First stop back in LA after a week of votes in DC: croissants from Lou - The French On The Block. CA-30 has the best food in the country and I will not be taking questions on this.
Whether it’s going to the doctor, the grocery store, or work, my bipartisan Safe and Affordable Transit Act will help make sure whichever transit route you use is safe for your families. (2/3)
The newest passenger aboard the Safe and Affordable Transit bus is the @demwomencaucus.bsky.social – a group of 96 fearless Congresswomen who know exactly how important it is for the federal government to invest in safety. (1/3)
This Black History Month, I’m reflecting on the countless positive impacts Black Americans have made in Los Angeles and across our nation. As we honor these contributions, we also recognize that there is more work that must be done to rectify past wrongs and pave the way toward a more just future.
