Very saddened to hear of Rep. LaMalfa’s passing today. We only spoke a few times, but he went out of his way to welcome me to Congress and help me.
Thinking of his wife, children, and friends during this difficult time.

Just yesterday, Trump admitted that oil drilling is dangerous, saying it “has killed a lot of people.”
Given that, why is he so intent on activating the same pipeline that devastated California’s beaches years ago? Doesn’t he care about Americans?
I’m committed to working with other members of Congress, including those in the Republican Party, to reassert our Congressional authority and ensure that the American people are not dragged into another costly, endless war that risks American lives and does nothing to protect our nation. (3/3)
Launching a war without Congressional authorization is unconstitutional. Trump has put our service members in the line of fire without providing a valid rationale, or a credible path to a positive resolution. (2/3)
Nicolás Maduro was a brutal dictator who has not respected the electoral will of his people. But that doesn’t justify Donald Trump bypassing Congress and launching a U.S. attack on Venezuela. We have seen no evidence that Maduro was planning to attack the U.S. or our interests. (1/3)
Our families deserve better than a President who champions a project which spilled thousands of gallons into our ocean, devastated jobs, and disrupted local economies. (2/2)
Reviving a leaky oil pipeline while tearing down clean energy projects is unconscionable. But it tracks for a President more interested in propping up the fossil fuel industry than protecting our precious coastline. (1/2)
Look out for the One Legacy float coming down Colorado Boulevard at the Rose Parade on January 1st!
It was an absolute honor to help decorate this work of art, especially because I was able to do it alongside One Legacy, an organization that helps save lives through eye, organ, and tissue donation.
In Congress, I’ve been fighting to protect your access to affordable healthcare so that patients like these aren’t abandoned. (2/2)
I visited Fresenius Medical Care in Burbank to see their important dialysis facility. Dialysis is a lifeline for those living with end-stage renal disease or severe kidney injuries and many patients rely on Medi-Cal to cover their treatment. (1/2)
From winning back $20 million in HIV prevention grants for Los Angeles to fighting for free speech and rallying for a Hollywood revival – every issue I took on had affordability, healthcare, and democracy in mind.

Thank you for allowing me to fight for you in Congress this year!

Heri za Kwanzaa! Wishing all those who celebrate a meaningful Kwanzaa.
Merry Christmas!
May this holiday season bring peace and renewal.
Holiday travel can be a headache, but it should never be something you have to fear. My new bipartisan Safe and Affordable Transit Act will help make sure you and your family get where you are going – safe and sound.

That’s why I’m helping lead a bipartisan resolution that will establish a basis for how AI can be developed responsibly – for the benefit of all Americans. (2/2)
As AI technology rapidly develops, we must have commonsense guardrails to prevent these influential platforms from generating antisemitic, hateful, or harmful content. (1/2)
Thank you to all of those who participated! (2/2)
I’m excited to announce that the winning app from my first Congressional App Challenge is SyncRide! Created by high school students Andrew Oh, Hannah Lee, Ginna Kim, and Aaron Kim, SyncRide was designed to make ride planning easier, cheaper, and better for the environment. (1/2)
I fight for clean air & against Trump’s decimation of environmental protections because of disastrous policies like this.
We make America healthy again by fighting for clean air & water. I’ve spent my career working to protect the Earth & the humans who rely on it, & I am more committed than ever.
