At my town hall, I heard from constituents who were fired up and angry about Trump's assault on Social Security, Medicare, and democracy itself. I want you all to keep showing up. This is the grassroots energy that will hold the Trump administration accountable.
Not only is Greenland worried America will invade, our allies believe America will abandon them in the face of war with Russia. America and the world is less safe today because of Trump’s reckless, bumbling foreign policy.
We called out the Trump Admin and they backed down. This is a win, especially for due process. However, we know the admin will keep pushing the line and we must fight back every time they overstep.
The Trump administration abruptly walked back its cancellation of more than 1,500 visas held by international students on Friday, announcing a dramatic shift by ICE during a court hearing in Washington. nyti.ms/4lIMsXT
A headline reads: “Trump Administration Reverses Cancellations Of Student Visas.” More text reads: “The sudden shift came as a reprieve for the more than 1,500 international students who have had their visas canceled in recent weeks.”
RFK Jr. is proposing to eliminate the National Suicide Hotline’s dedicated LGBTQ+ youth program — a lifeline for so many young people in crisis.   Our LGBTQ+ youth deserve love, acceptance, & support. I’m committed to protecting this essential resource for everyone struggling with mental health.
Those of us who’ve worked in the industry — and are actually focused on bringing Hollywood back to California — know this plan makes no sense. What does make sense? A national film tax credit. Will you work with me on that POTUS?
This May, we celebrate the invaluable contributions of Jewish Americans to the fabric of American society, culture, and history. As a Jewish American, I hope our stories of resilience and values of inclusion inspire generations to come. Happy Jewish American Heritage Month!
This is rich, coming from the guy ignoring court orders, trashing the global economy, and calling himself “king.” Our universities prepare our students for the future, and are the incubators for scientific and medical progress. Defunding them puts the US at a global disadvantage.
The Freedom Riders put their lives at risk to challenge segregation & racial discrimination. Their bravery helped move the civil rights movement forward and end segregated mass transit. May we never forget their sacrifices in their struggle for civil rights for all.
I’m proud to represent a district rich in the variety of Asian American communities that call it home, including Thai Town — a vibrant part of LA that reflects the strength, creativity, and history of our nation.
NIH’s Women’s Health Initiative is the oldest & largest research program of its kind focused on the health needs of women. Its findings have saved countless lives. Like everything else that benefits Americans, Trump is gutting it. So much for his promise of “protecting” women.
Trump says he cares about the housing crisis — then proposes a 43% cut to investments that make housing more affordable. I can’t believe this has to be said, but you don’t solve a crisis by slashing a key part of the solution. www.npr.org/2025/05/02/n...
Head Start doesn’t just prepare our children. It helps make life more affordable for our parents. Trump ran on cutting costs, but his policies are just making everything more expensive. I’m commited to helping our children and families by defending programs like Head Start.
Today is about honoring workers — their rights and their essential role in every part of our economy. On International Workers’ Day, we stand with those who keep California and our nation moving. I’ll keep fighting to ensure they have fair wages, safe working conditions, and dignity for all workers.
