My Constituent Services Team is holding mobile office hours from 11 am – 5 pm on March 25th. If you need help with a federal agency, Social Security, Medicaid, and more, we’re here to listen and help. Let us help government work for YOU!
The Department funds everything from school lunch programs, to IDEA grants for students with disabilities, teacher training, Title I funding for low-income schools, Pell Grants, and AP classes — critical resources our families rely on.
I had the chance to meet with representatives from various California credit unions to talk about the important roles that credit unions play in our economy, and the savings they bring customers.     We also discussed the Disaster Resiliency and Coverage Act, of which I am a proud cosponsor.
When I think of courage, I think of our brave firefighters who answer the call in our time of need no matter the danger.
That is why I am proud to cosponsor the Honoring our Fallen Heroes Act. This bill provides benefits for our heroes who have suffered from service-related cancers and illnesses.
Trump’s cruel cuts to USDA took food away from hungry children while also hurting local farmers.    This is terrible for our families and our rural economies. I’m committed to fighting for a future where no child goes hungry.
The Agriculture Department has killed $1 billion in funding that was used to buy local food for schools and food banks. This will affect people in over 40 states. www.politico.com/news/2025/03...
I just joined @congresstran.bsky.social letter with 60+ of my House colleagues urging @schumer.senate.gov to reject the GOP’s harmful CR. A vote for Trump's & Musk's partisan CR is a vote against veterans, seniors, children, and families. We must stand with hardworking Americans — not betray them.
It was an honor to meet with Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, the Ambassador of Thailand to the United States.    My district is home to the only officially recognized Thaitown in the U.S. It is a privilege to represent a vibrant community of Thai immigrants who have come to call our nation home.
Deeply saddened by the passing of @repraulgrijalva.bsky.social. He will be remembered as a true champion for his constituents and for protecting Arizona's public lands. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who were lucky to know him.
I had the honor of speaking to the Joint Action Committee Policy Conference & thanking them for their leadership in the fight against hate.    The advocacy the Joint Action Committee inspires will be a guiding light during these times filled with hate. I’m glad to join them on the frontlines.
I joined my colleagues in reintroducing the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.     For far too long, corporations have gotten away with squashing the ability of hardworking Americans to advocate for better pay, benefits, and the right to organize. The time for that to change is now.
I am all-in to stay in DC to vote for a 4-week funding extension to stop devastating cuts & keep government open. The public deserves a bipartisan agreement. I invite the Republicans to come to the table to avoid a Republican shut-down and more chaos.
🚨 I spoke on the House floor today about my amendment to uphold the Constitution and stop illegal budget cuts driven by an unelected billionaire. Congress—not the President—controls federal spending. It’s time Republicans stand up for the Constitution and their constituents. Watch my remarks ⬇️
I am excited to announce that my office is taking submissions for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition! I look forward to seeing the amazing skills of the young artists in our district.    Show off your artistic skills and win a chance to go to D.C.! Submit to tinyurl.com/CA30-Art.
They're telling it right to your face. Elon Musk — who sucks up billions in taxpayer subsidies — and Trump's GOP want to gut Social Security, Medicaid, and veterans' healthcare.
