The money set aside by the federal government for states in the reconciliation bill for border security reimbursement should go to help the people in the state of Texas, not the state government.
My heart and condolences are with the families devastated by the catastrophic floods in Texas. Lives have been tragically lost, and entire communities have been displaced. I’m grateful to all who have become their brothers’ and sisters’ keepers during this time of crisis.
