Our firefighters and first responders put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. They represent the best of America and deserve our full support. Great discussion at the Plymouth Fire Department about how we can work together to ensure they get the support they need.
President Trump is trying to impose an abortion ban where our veterans may be forced to carry pregnancies to term even if they were raped or the pregnancy puts their health at risk. That’s not right. I’m leading the Reproductive Freedom for Veterans Act to give veterans the healthcare they need.
As the fight to deliver every penny of federal funding promised to New Hampshire continues, some good news: more than $2.8 million is heading to the Granite State to help hardworking families save money on their energy bills. I’ll never stop working to lower energy costs for you and your family.
It’s been hotter than hell this summer & energy costs are sky-high. Tens of thousands of families across NH are relying on a program called LIHEAP to keep their homes cool. The Trump Administration’s effort to gut this program is downright dangerous, & that’s why I’m fighting back.
We’ve got some of the highest energy costs in America here in New Hampshire, and I’m looking for ways to lower costs for hardworking Granite Staters every day in Congress. This bill will help families in our state save money on energy bills by making their homes more resilient and energy efficient.
Social Security is not a “Ponzi scheme” — it is a bedrock promise that we’ve made to one another as Americans for 90 years. We’ve got a lot of work to do to protect and strengthen Social Security in the days ahead, and I’m not backing down.
“Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander (D-NH), a former intelligence officer in the Navy Reserves, called Hegseth ‘unfit to serve in any position of public trust’ in a comment to Military Times following his posting of the video. She too felt that he ‘should be removed immediately.’”
Pastors in the video said they want the U.S. to be a Christian republic, adding calls for criminalizing homosexuality and for women to submit to husbands.
Since the start of Russia’s brutal and lawless invasion, people from across Ukraine have found safety in America through the Uniting for Ukraine program. I am calling on the Trump Administration to provide certainty that they can continue to live and work in the United States.
🔁 Coffee & Kindness in Nashua: Insightful conversation on coffee, trade policy & the real-world impact of tariffs on small businesses. When we impose tariffs on goods that cannot be produced domestically, we’re not protecting American industry—we’re penalizing American entrepreneurs & consumers.
We owe a debt of gratitude to the brave women and men who served our country in uniform. At the State Veterans Advisory Committee Picnic in Manchester, it was an honor to talk to veterans about delivering on what matters most to them. I’m proud to bring their voices to Congress every day.
For democracy to work, the people must have the biggest say in what's driving our government. But, I’m one of the few Members of Congress who's never taken a penny from a corporate PAC. That shouldn’t be. The Ban Corporate PACs Act is a commonsense place to start, and I’m proud to help lead it.
Local government is core to our way of life – from Nashua to Berlin, Salem to Swanzey, Concord to Claremont, Litchfield to Lebanon to Littleton, Hudson, to Franklin to Keene, and many more. I’m proud to be their partner in Congress.
Firefighters & first responders put their lives on the line to keep us safe. I’m working to ensure these American heroes get the best training, & the National Fire Academy plays a critical role in making that possible. I’m proud to help lead the National Fire Academy Reporting Act to do just that.
