90 years ago, Social Security was signed into law. Since then, Americans have paid in, confident that they can count on it in retirement. The Trump Administration is undermining that confidence & I'm going to continue to stand up to anyone who threatens this critical lifeline.
MADCO3D is one of many Granite State businesses on the cutting edge of innovation. Great to visit their facility in Rochester last week to see how their 3D printing tech is saving time and money on new housing construction, helping tackle our housing crisis.
Great to visit the Kilham Bear Center in Lyme last week and learn about the work that volunteers and staff do to rehabilitate and release injured, orphaned, and abandoned black bear cubs.
Planned Parenthood provides Granite Staters with affordable health care. I heard from providers and staff today about how the Trump Administration's efforts to rip funding away from Planned Parenthood threaten cancer screenings and other essential health care for women.
I stopped by HealthFirst Family Care in Laconia to hear about the critical services they provide for Granite Staters.   Community health centers are at risk — and one HealthFirst location has already announced its upcoming closure — because of the Republican budget bill.
National Night Out is a great way for New Hampshire Police Departments to build relationships with their communities, including last night in Manchester. Thank you to New Hampshire law enforcement for all of the work you do to keep us safe.
The Congressional Delegation and I are pushing the Air National Guard to exempt critical public safety roles – like fire fighters and air traffic controllers - from the Administration’s planned civilian employee layoffs. I will keep standing up to keep New Hampshire and our military safe.
Happy 235th Birthday to the United States Coast Guard! Thank you to the men and women who have kept our waters safe, secure, and free over the years – and for all those who continue to safeguard our freedoms and protect our waters.
Firing the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics – without evidence – won’t change the reality that families are experiencing. Under President Trump, job growth is declining and costs and inflation are rising. www.cnn.com/2025/08/01/b...
Americans are rightly concerned about how Trump’s tariffs on steel and aluminum are increasing their already-high grocery bills. That’s why I’m asking Amazon to share more about the impact tariffs are having on their prices. www.axios.com/2025/07/30/a...
