This administration's immigration policy is clear: target anyone who has brown skin.
The cruelty isn't just the point, it's the plan.
I will continue to stand with our immigrant communities & do my part to equip them with resources & information to protect against these racist policies.

Donald Trump just bombed Iran without any authorization from Congress.
Congress must immediately pass Rep. Massie's War Powers Resolution to block Trump from dragging the US into an unconstitutional war in the Middle East.
Reposted byRepresentative Val Hoyle
Trump is acting fully outside of his authority and is once again trampling on the Constitution. This is an illegal and terrifying escalation. Dropping bombs on Iran brings us closer to war and he is putting millions of lives at stake.
Congress must pass our War Powers Resolution to rein him in.

President Trump's unilateral decision to strike Iran is blatantly unconstitutional.
There's a reason why the Founders only gave Congress the power to declare war. The American people deserve a say in whether or not their children get sent into another foreign war.

The American people must get a say in if we send their kids, family & friends to fight in another foreign war. That's why the Founders only gave Congress the power to declare war.
This week, I joined @khanna.house.gov & Rep. Massie to stop our involvement in another war without a vote by Congress.

On the 160th anniversary of #Juneteenth, America’s unions celebrate and commemorate the end of slavery in the United States.
We’ll continue organizing in the streets and in the halls of power to fight for civil rights and economic justice for all workers.

#Juneteenth is a celebration of #BlackHistory and freedom, born from struggle and resilience. Black Americans have led that fight for generations. Today, as threats grow louder, we honor the strength of Black Americans & lift up our members who keep fighting for freedom for all.
In a political climate full of racism & bigotry, #Juneteenth reminds us that change is only possible when we are uncompromising in our values.
The abolition & liberation movement reminds us that when you're on the right side of history, you don't compromise on your values; you fight like hell.

Here’s what I learned.

House Republicans passed the biggest health care cut in U.S. history. Senate Republicans’ response? Hold my beer.
Now they’re pushing even deeper Medicaid cuts—knowing it’ll shut down rural hospitals, strip care from their own voters, and leave millions hanging.

Friendly reminder: Medicaid isn’t a luxury, it’s a lifeline.
We need healthcare we can count on. We need Medicaid.

A new AFL-CIO report shows that 179 million people with health insurance through work will pay up to $485 per person more in health care costs each year as a result of Medicaid and Affordable Care Act cuts in the budget reconciliation bill. aflcio.org/about/advoca...

The budget bill that the Senate is considering would be a nightmare for working families.
It would throw 16 MILLION people off their health care, likely close 338 hospitals and cut SNAP food assistance for 2 million kids.
Working people say hell no!

I have joined @khanna.house.gov & Rep. Massie to stop our involvement in another war without a vote by Congress.
I've always said, under both parties, only Congress can declare war.
I will not send more of our kids to die in wars started by people whose kids aren't putting their lives on the line.
These are the types of lies that fuel copy-cat attacks and lead to more violence.
Where are my Republican colleagues, why are they so afraid to call out the depravity? [3/3]
