We have two choices: Either we can scream, yell and cry in our beer or have eyes, ears and a voice in the room to stand up for seniors, veterans and working people. (6/9)

Whether it’s allowing Medicare to negotiate drug pricing or cracking down on defense contractors who overcharge the Defense Dept, we as progressives should come to the table with our list. (5/9)
The DOGE caucus is a forum to discuss ways to find savings in the budget. Anyone who thinks there aren’t opportunities to make government more efficient and effective is not living in the real world. This isn’t a partisan issue. (4/9)
Earlier today I spoke at a rally outside the Senate to call for the passage of the Social Security Fairness Act to overturn 40 years of punishing teachers, firefighters, police officers and other government employees by not letting them receive the benefits that they earned. (3/9)
to EXPAND and EXTEND benefits. I’ve supported every single piece of legislation to protect this program since I came to Congress. (2/9)
First things first: I oppose cuts to Social Security, always have and always will. Anyone who says otherwise is dead wrong. The first bill I introduced in Congress with Rep. Schakowsky, @sanders.senate.gov and @warren.senate.gov was the Social Security Expansion Act, (1/9)
Today I spoke in opposition to the National Defense Authorization Act. I support pay raises & better healthcare for troops. Danielle is a nursing student at Umpqua Community College and a combat medic in the Oregon National Guard. She also joined me at the last State of the Union. From one community college grad to another, keep leading and inspiring!
The University of Oregon Ducks are the BIG 10 champs! On to the playoff, go Ducks!
83 years ago, 2,300 servicemembers lost their lives at Pearl Harbor. We continue to honor the lives lost that day and commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of those who volunteered to fight for our country in the days that followed.
Congratulations to University of Oregon’s Ducks on the only undefeated record this season in college football! We’re all rooting for you tomorrow. #GoDucks
As a third-generation union member, I can confidently say I would not be in Congress but for my union, my father's union, and my grandfather’s union fighting for better wages, hours, and working conditions. Happy 69th birthday to the @aflcio.org , here’s to more kicking ass for the working class!”

EUREKA, Calif. (AP) — Powerful earthquake strikes off coast of Northern California; tsunami warning issued.
Take the advice that if you are in a tsunami warning area, evacuate inland or to higher ground above and beyond designated tsunami hazard zones or move to an upper floor of a multi-story building depending on your situation.
The coast from The Oregon/Cal border to Douglas/Lane Line, Oregon (10 miles SW of Florence). This includes Port Orford, Brookings, and Charleston.
From Tsunami Alert Center:
Resident on Oregon’s South Coast...A TSUNAMI WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT. This is in response to a 7.3 magnitude earthquake of the Northern California coast.
Fishermen put food on our tables and power Oregon’s coastal economy. Yesterday, I voted for the FISHES Act to speed up disaster relief for our fishermen by removing bureaucratic obstacles and expediting relief.
On National Roof Over Your Head Day, we face a stark reality: over 20,000 Oregonians are homeless. That's why I've worked with Rep. Carbajal and @wyden.senate.gov to introduce the DASH Act to reduce barriers to housing and house every homeless child and family within 5 years.
