I will NOT be at the State of the Union tonight. I am not here to play politics. I am here to work for the people in my district.
I’ll be fact checking claims made at the State of the Union here and on my other pages.

The ROTOR Act just died on the House floor.
I don’t want to look in the eyes of another family member who lost a child or parent or spouse. I’m really disappointed and looking at next steps of how we can get the right legislation passed.

New data collected by BLS shows that now more than ever workers want the security of a union contract. The Economic Policy Institute breaks it down for us. Read the report here: http://usw.to/5km

It was so great to speak with @uopppm.bsky.social Intro to Public Policy class yesterday and discuss the inner workings of Congress and the issues important to young people. Our students are essential to the political process and are doing big things. Go ducks!
I know gaslighting when I see it. Loving our country and being a true patriot means embracing our history, warts and all, so we know how far we have come, how far we have yet to go and where we never want to go again.
We can’t celebrate America by whitewashing our history. The President and my colleagues want to use the 250th anniversary of our country to rewrite history into a white supremacist narrative and pretend it’s normal.
Hey United! This member of Congress LOVES your @afacwa.org Flight Attendants. But love doesn’t pay the bills - a contract does! #ContractNow

Today is the 167th anniversary of Oregon becoming a state! It’s also Valentine’s Day, so we’re highlighting some of the amazing rivers in the 4th district and the key species to fish in each one.
In the emails I read, Maxwell and Epstein were more concerned with limits to their lavish lifestyle than the pain they caused.
In one email, Maxwell complained that she had to fly commercial instead of via private plane. These are truly horrible people.
I just got back from reading through some of the Epstein files. It is a time consuming process as we do not have cooperation from Bondi’s DOJ.
Adults that rape children must be held accountable. No matter their party, their connections or how much $ they have.
