...and the last shoe drops. Going forward, I guess Platner could dig in and be the accused rapist with a Nazi tattoo trying to prevent the Democrats from getting control of the Senate. But that wouldn't feel very, you know, "authentic" of him.

I want them not to serve as publicists for speciously defined male "authenticity" in political candidates and I want them to think hard about what they choose to overlook.
