Homegrown NW Ohio companies such as Sierra Lobo are doing cutting edge work in partnership with NASA to deliver jobs and innovation from our region to the world. Proud to have helped bring hundreds of Millions in investment to efforts that embody making it here in America.
Selling out our farmers, producers, growers, ranchers, and cattlemen by importing hundreds of thousands of pounds of foreign beef on taxpayer dime is not the answer. Undermining American agriculture while bailing out Argentina is shameful.
Our office is now accepting applications for Winter/Spring 2027 internships in our Washington, DC office. We invite hardworking individuals with a passion for public service to apply by October 23rd at noon. More information on the flier below—call 202-225-4146 if you have any additional questions.
Great to join RAIL Passenger Association President Jim Matthews, All Aboard Ohio, and train enthusiasts from across America for a fireside chat at their annual conference held this weekend. Passenger rail service across Northern Ohio will benefit our people.

Greeted runners this morning ahead of East Toledo Family Center’s Nickel Dash—thanks to all who came out to support a great cause! I presented ETFC with an entry in the Congressional Record marking 125 years of faithful service in our community, and immeasurable impact on generations of Toledoans.
Great night under the Friday night lights as Clay took on Anthony Wayne at home in Oregon. Thanks to all who came out to support both teams, and honor our first responders, active duty service members, and veterans. It’s Fall in NW Ohio!
For 2 years this Administration has taken efforts that severely harmed our economy—wage growth is falling, while unemployment is on the rise. Their reckless across the board tariffs on our closest allies, war of choice in Iran, and tax breaks for Billionaires haven't made life more affordable.
My work to deliver over $637,000 in Federal Community Project Funding for EMS facility renovations in Fremont has had a real impact. So happy to visit, and hear how it is already helping to save lives across Sandusky County.
Festive morning in Fremont with students from across NW Ohio, to help release baby Lake Sturgeon into the Sandusky River. An exhilarating reminder of how beautiful our world can be when we take part in science with our own two hands, and see nature’s wonder up close.
In their first 2 years, the Trump Administration are expected to spend nearly $2 Billion on vanity projects. That could cover #OH09‘s costs for: ⚫ 1 month of Rent ⚫ 1 month of Groceries ⚫ 1 month of ever rising Electric Bills ⚫ 1 year of Medical Care for every veteran . . . with change to spare.
This #SuicidePreventionMonth, we remember those we have lost and support those who are struggling. Please know that help is there if you need it. If you or someone you know is in crisis, know that you can always call or text the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 24/7 at 988.
Happy to help deliver $3.75 Million to boost efforts that support strong families and caring in communities across NW Ohio. Equipping young fathers with the skills and resources they need to be an active presence in their families’ lives will lay a solid foundation for success.
Proud to help deliver $3.75 Million to amazing people and programs that work to build strong families and caring in communities across NW Ohio. Equipping young fathers with the skills and resources they need to be an active presence in their families’ lives will lay a solid foundation for success.
The tariffs on Canada and the war in Iran are causing the price of gas and diesel to skyrocket. This week in Napoleon, Henry County I saw Ohioans paying $4.35 for a gallon of regular, and $6.89 for a gallon of diesel. This is unsustainable for our hardworking NW Ohio families, truckers, and farmers.
Honored to join fellow members of Congress to meet with President Zelenskyy to discuss restoring American leadership and standing up for our Ukrainian Allies fighting for Liberty. Our Russia sanctions bill passed—now POTUS must swiftly implement it to help end Russia’s illegal war in Ukraine.
Honored to receive Growth Energy’s 2026 Fueling Growth Award for my work championing biofuels. Nearly half of NW Ohio farmers, producers, and growers’ income comes from biofuels that utilize corn and soy. I will always fight for those who make and grow what makes and grows America.
Ripping health care away from nearly 1 Million Americans doesn't make life more affordable. With prior cuts causing the nation’s largest loss in coverage here in Ohio, affordability and access are at a critical stage.
