Congrats to Ohio Fraternal Order of Police after House passage of HR 82, the #SocialSecurityFairnessAct. The bill will repeal WEP & GPO which unfairly penalize police and other retirees. We discussed the vital need for swift Senate passage to get this to the President’s desk to be signed into law.
Joined 326 bipartisan colleagues to pass HR 82 the #SocialSecurityFairnessAct and repeal WEP and GPO. This is a win for Ohio police, firefighters, teachers, and public workers. I look forward to swift Senate passage so we can send this bill to the President’s desk to be signed into law.
This #VeteransDay, we take a moment to honor those who have served our nation in uniform. Our veterans went to unimaginable lengths to keep our nation safe, and we thank them for their incredible service as forces for Liberty. Our debt of gratitude cannot ever be fully repaid.
