I've spent the last 2 days touring NASA Glenn facilities in Northern Ohio, but that is not the only space news on the horizon. Tonight starting at 8:24 pm Ohioans can look to the skies to see a rare Blue Super Moon, which will not happen again until 2037.

Today, President Biden announced 10 new drugs that will enter into drug price negotiations to bring savings to seniors in Ohio and across our nation.
60 years ago today, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous “I have a dream” speech during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. This landmark moment in the Civil Rights Movement helped lead to the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Voting Rights Act of 1965.
Thank you to Defiance College President Richanne Mankey, VP Jeremy Taylor, Student Senate President Will Garlock, and other students and faculty for a very informative visit today. Wishing a fruitful Fall semester to all.

Joined Mayor Kapszukiewicz, the City of Toledo, Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity, and Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union to celebrate the Rooftops Repair Program which makes critical repairs in distressed neighborhoods—utilizing nearly $3 Million in American Rescue Plan funding I proudly voted for.
Inspiring community support on display at the East Toledo Family Center open house today. Met with local families, children, and the staff that support them and help them to grow and thrive.

The US economy added 187,000 jobs in July—for 30 consecutive months of job growth. Since President Biden came into office, the United States has added 13.4 million jobs, with 3.5% unemployment remaining near historic low. Ohio has more jobs filled than at any time in the state’s history.
Wishing all students across NW Ohio a good school year full of learning, enrichment, and discovery.
A legacy of patriotic service was on display at the 180th Fighter Wing's Family Day. Thank you to all the families who support our 180th and their important mission protecting the skies along our northern border.

Brought together State Senator Paula Hicks-Hudson and State Representative Michele Grim at Westbrook Senior Village to discuss issues that impact seniors in our communities. I also highlighted savings seniors can tap into now through the Inflation Reduction Act.
I voted for the Inflation Reduction Act to make the cost-of-living more affordable for families in Northwest Ohio—and I won’t stop fighting to lower costs for hardworking families across our region.
