President Trump is meeting with the President of Argentina instead of meeting with Congressional leaders to end the shutdown and prevent health care premiums from skyrocketing.
$20 billion for Argentina, but no $ for Americans' health care?

The expiration of health tax credits is raising premiums for cancer patients. 86% say it will make it harder for them to access critical care. That’s wrong. Republicans in Congress should not make it harder for people battling for their lives.

My bipartisan bill with Senator Grassley to bring home the 19,000 Ukrainian children kidnapped by Russia passed the Senate. We must do everything possible to bring these children home and reunite them with their families.
In Bemidji and across the country, Americans will see their premiums double or even triple if Congressional Republicans refuse to work with us to extend the health care tax credits.
Hardworking families don’t have $14,400 lying around. We must stop this health care crisis.
Today, we commemorate Indigenous Peoples' Day by celebrating the rich heritage of Minnesota’s eleven Tribal Nations and Native communities nationwide. Now more than ever, we must continue to support and uplift tribal voices, cultures, and rights.

Sharing a few of the messages I’ve received from Michiganders about how rising health care costs will impact them and their families.
This shouldn’t be a partisan issue. We must work together to help folks access the health care they need.
The amazing thing about the SNL sketch last night was not that Ashley Padilla wore a scarf nearly identical to mine. It’s that I trust Amy Poehler as AG more than Pam Bondi.
Trump is weaponizing the Justice Department by removing a well-respected, Republican US Attorney and appointing a loyalist who will target his political opponents over the objection of career prosecutors.
It’s a threat to the justice system and the rule of law.
I took to the Senate floor to implore my Republican colleagues to extend the health care tax credit instead of raising costs for millions of Americans.
This is not a December thing or a January thing, it’s a now thing.
A budget is a statement of your values.
Congressional Republicans chose to put money in the pockets of the wealthy, increase the debt, and cut health care. Those are their values.
This is our moment to stand up for our values—to lower costs and expand access to health care.
There it is: $20 billion for Argentina at the same time they’re taking markets away from our farmers.
But no $ for health insurance for Americans?

Democrats came ready to lower health care costs.
Republicans walked away and shut down the government.
We need a deal that puts working families first — and actually lowers their costs.
Not on my bingo card, but Jimmy Kimmel and Marjorie Taylor Greene are right.
If the health care tax credits expire, health insurance premiums will double for millions of Americans.
Republicans need to come to the table to end the shutdown and protect Americans’ health care.

If my Republican colleagues fail to work with us, 267,000 veterans will lose their health care, according to a new report from the Urban Institute.
These are Americans who put their lives on the line for our nation, who will be priced out of health care if Congress doesn’t act.
I asked Attorney General Bondi about the Justice Department carrying out vengeance prosecutions of Trump’s political opponents.
Again and again, she refused to answer.
She's the Chief Legal Officer for the people of the United States, not the President’s personal lawyer.

Let Me Be Blunt: this isn’t business as usual.
Republicans shut down the government and are refusing to negotiate. They’re even holding committee hearings on everything BUT their shutdown.
This week, I used my time in those hearings to remind them what’s really at stake.
The President ordered these charges, fired his own U.S. Attorney and replaced him with a White House aide who would overrule career prosecutors to bring them.
We all must stand up for the rule of law.

1.4 million Georgians could see their premiums skyrocket next year if ACA tax credits expire.
All by myself…
Knocked at the door of the House chamber and no Republicans to be found.
They need to get back to work and stop health insurance premiums from doubling.
Threatening to arrest the governor of a state is outrageous, even for this president.
We must stand up against this President’s attacks on the rule of law and our Constitution.
