Instead of helping our farmers, the Administration is sending a $20 billion bailout to Argentina.
Even as Argentina is taking markets away from our farmers.
As the American Soybean Association put it: “The frustration is overwhelming.”

If Congress doesn't extend ACA enhanced premium tax credits, 20 million Americans will see a dramatic rise in premium costs, and another 4 million people will lose their coverage completely. My Republican colleagues need to come to the table so that we can prevent this disaster.
I talked to Will Westmoreland about the Republican health care crisis.
15 million Americans could lose their insurance, including seniors in assisted living.
Premiums could double in rural America.
Rural hospitals could close.
We’re fighting to prevent this crisis.
27% of farmers and ranchers get health insurance through the individual market.
If Congressional Republicans refuse to join with us to extend the health care tax credit, these farmers will see their monthly premiums skyrocket.
Let’s be clear: Hunger doesn’t go away just because you stop measuring it.
President Trump would rather cancel the annual hunger report than acknowledge that more kids are going to bed hungry because of his tariffs and cuts to food assistance.
I visited Channel 1 Food Bank and Executive Director Virginia Witherspoon in Rochester and met Larry, who has volunteered more than 6,000 hours at the food bank. His dedication to helping our neighbors is truly inspiring.
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. If Congressional Republicans don't extend health care tax credits as part of this budget, insurance rates for small businesses will surge next year, forcing layoffs, price hikes, and less coverage.

I joined MN Farm Bureau President Dan Glessing at the Pagel family’s Paclear Farm in Eyota. From dairy to row crops, they’re committed to keeping their farm strong for the future. I’m committed to supporting their work and fighting for our farmers.
I stopped by Purfeest Farms in Rice County. The Purfeest family are 5th-generation Minnesota farmers and tend to 4,000 acres of corn and soybeans. We must support their work with fair trade policies that give farmers a fair shot to succeed. And check out the CAT 🐈⬛ cameo.
In Madison on Stop 6 of my 13-county rural tour, I stopped by Madison Mercantile to talk with owner Kris Shelstad, a retired National Guard Lieutenant Colonel, about the challenges rural businesses face and the need to keep Main Street strong.

The cuts to Medicaid from the Republican-championed “Big Beautiful Betrayal” will leave seniors bankrupt and force nursing homes to close. youtube.com/shorts/eCcrU...
This violence is unacceptable. My heart is with the victims, their families, and everyone impacted by this tragedy.
Americans are facing a cliff: Health insurance premiums could increase by 75%, and even double in rural areas.
President Trump showed he would rather shut down the government than work with us to address the health care crisis Republicans have caused.
Doctors & nurses at rural hospitals have told me they're facing a perfect storm of Medicaid cuts, ACA tax credits expiring & public health chaos.
As the sign says, Trump & Congressional Republicans created an EMERGENCY🆘. They need to listen to their constituents & fix it.
Gathered with people young and old, students and seniors, at Old No. 1 in Morris on my 13-county rural tour. Thanks to owners Matt & Meredith for showing me around. Lots of concerns about tariffs and health care. We need to stand up for small towns.
Got to see Margo Price at Farm Aid. Just like the song on her new album Hard Headed Woman says: “Don’t Let the Bastards Get You Down.”
If Republicans in Congress let the health care tax credit expire, a family of 4 making $85K a year will pay an additional $3,388 a year in premiums.
That’s almost double what they’re currently paying.
This would be catastrophic for millions of families.
On my 13-county rural tour, I visited the Windom, MN Toro factory which makes incredible snow blowers & mowers.
In Minnesota, we innovate, we make things, and we export to the world.

Trump in 2013 on how to avoid a shutdown: “You have to get everyone in a room. You have to be a leader.”
Trump today: Cancels meeting with Democratic Leaders.
On my 13-county rural economy tour, I visited Joel on his farm in Tyler. The tariffs are a gut punch for the soybean market. In Minnesota, over half of our soybeans are sold outside the U.S. Markets are drying up. They want trade and stable markets so they can sell their beans.
