The Annunciation Catholic School’s theme this year is “A future filled with HOPE,” something every child deserves. As we come together to heal from this tragedy, we must carry that spirit and support the victims and their families.
Attended a beautiful prayer service at Holy Angels led by Archbishop Hebda. He said, “we look for the words that are able to express inexpressible grief, and we look for those symbols that might bring hope."
I am heartbroken by the horrific violence at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis this morning. My prayers are with the students, teachers, and families, and I am grateful for the first responders who are on the scene.
Always fun to come on the @jasonshowtv.bsky.social live from the Fair!  The best part of the State Fair is connecting with Minnesotans and hearing from them about what we should be doing in Washington. It’s where some of my best and most meaningful ideas come from.
Military Appreciation Day is one of my favorite days at the Fair. It is so great to see so many veterans, service members, and their families coming out. I will always be thankful for their service and sacrifice.
It’s Military Appreciation Day at the Minnesota State Fair, an opportunity for us to thank all our service members and veterans. This year’s theme, Future Faces of the Force, celebrates the next generation of Americans answering the call to serve. 🇺🇸

Scammers are using deepfakes to exploit the devastating flood in Texas, sharing AI-generated photos and videos to deceive people to give to a fraudulent campaign. Congress must establish rules of the road on AI to protect well-meaning people from being scammed.
If we know one thing about Vladimir Putin, it is that he cannot be trusted. Russia cannot have veto power over Ukraine's security. We need a ceasefire now, and for the longer term we need an allied coalition of the willing to support a lasting peace.
We must stand by the Afghans who stood with us in the war. Veterans are standing with our Afghan allies as Battle Buddies volunteers. Now Congress needs to step in and pass my bipartisan bill to ensure they can  put down roots here and continue contributing to our communities.
The Great Minnesota Get Together is off to a great start! Love saying hi to people at my booth at the corner of Judson and Underwood! (Including my former babysitter on Oakview Lane in Plymouth…Beth Ronning. Yes, she knew me when I was…three-years-old!
Trump’s attacks on election workers have consequences. 2 out of 5 local election officials left their jobs last year, the highest rate in at least 25 years.   I’ll keep fighting to protect election workers, who are critical to keeping our elections safe and secure.
