Amy Klobuchar

Amy Jean Klobuchar is an American politician and lawyer serving as the senior United States senator from Minnesota, a seat she has held since 2007. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), Minnesota's affiliate of the Democratic Party, she previously served as the county attorney of Hennepin County, Minnesota.

Yesterday marked a major milestone in the Fargo-Moorhead Flood Diversion Project as the Red River was officially rerouted after years of bipartisan work and cross-border collaboration. This project will bring permanent flood protection to nearly 260,000 people in MN and ND.‬
As John Lewis said, voting is "the most powerful nonviolent tool we have to create a more perfect union." On the 60th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, in the face of relentless attacks on our democracy, we must continue the fight for civil rights.
