We’ve taken action in the Senate to reverse President Trump’s tariff taxes on Canada. Republicans in the House should remember they are not subjects to a king.   They need to listen to their constituents and end this chaos and confusion.
Chris Krebs did his job to uphold our democracy and told the truth about the 2020 election when it wasn’t easy. Now, President Trump is targeting him yet again.    I worked with Chris on a nonpartisan basis for years to ensure our elections & democracy were safe.   This is wrong.
President Trump and Elon Musk are delaying life-saving cancer treatments by laying off scientists doing cutting edge research.   We should be doing all we can to spur more innovation, not turning our backs on progress.
We just introduced the bipartisan NO FAKES Act to stop unauthorized deepfakes and create a framework for artists to use AI to make their own music and art.   Thanks to Randy Travis and his wife Mary for sharing his story about using AI to make music after he had a stroke.
As families across the U.S. face rising costs, I joined @bennet.senate.gov & @cortezmasto.senate.gov to introduce bills to cut taxes for workers & families so they can keep more of their hard-earned money.   Instead of giving tax breaks to the rich, we should be helping everyday Americans.
It was great to join the Minnesota State Building and Trades Council in Washington to discuss why we must keep investing in infrastructure projects and supporting our unions.   I will keep fighting for our building and construction trade workers!
Today marks 50 years of Voyageurs National Park, which has brought millions of people from around the world to the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Grateful for the National Park Service staff who protect and maintain the park and keep visitors safe.
You really can't make this stuff up.    Americans are not able to access their online Social Security accounts, even as the Administration is cutting phone services and forcing people to use the website.
The Judiciary Committee passed my bipartisan bills with Senator Chuck Grassley to lower Rx drug costs by taking on Big Pharma’s abuses of deals with competitors and FDA petitions. Next stop: the Senate floor. I won’t stop working to lower costs for prescription drugs.
President Trump’s tariff tax will raise prices for families in America by nearly $4,000 a year.   That’s why I led a bipartisan Senate resolution to undo the reckless taxes on Canadian imports that are harming Minnesota's families, farmers, & businesses.
I visited Broken Clock Brewery in Minneapolis to hear how President Trump’s tariff tax is harming small businesses and farmers.   I’ve taken action in the Senate to undo across-the-board tariffs on Canadian imports and I’ll keep fighting to end these reckless policies.
Congratulations to Minnesota’s “Fanta” 16U Tier II Girls Hockey Team for winning the 2025 USA Hockey National Championship Tournament!   It was so great to meet them while they were in Washington for the tournament last week! Great job!
President Trump’s tariffs mean higher prices for everything from groceries to electronics. The billionaires in the President’s Cabinet won’t feel it at the checkout line — but American workers and small businesses sure will.
