ICE’s Operation Midway Blitz exposed families in my district to reckless, fear-driven tactics, including a raid at an apartment building in South Shore.
I visited that apartment to tell residents I’m fighting to restore the safety and dignity our communities lost during these traumatic raids.
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the National Guard troops that were shot today.
I am grateful for the swift response of our first responders who prevented further tragedy.
This is a real story. From a real person in my district who has to face real choices between healthcare, a new job, or sacrificing other basic necessities.
