Today, I caught up with my friend @petebuttigieg.bsky.social. Turns out, we’ve both had it with Trump’s mob boss politics. Full conversation with @katiephang.bsky.social dropping on YouTube tomorrow at 1:30pm.
There is bipartisan opposition to his nomination. The White House should pull his nomination immediately. —AK 2/2
As a member of the committee overseeing Paul Ingrassia’s nomination, I don’t need a confirmation hearing to know how dangerous and unfit he is for public service at any level, let alone such an important position. 1/2

Happy Diwali to all who celebrate in New Jersey and around the world! May the Festival of Lights bring prosperity and joy.
We can see right through Trump’s acts of political retribution.
This Administration canceling $18 billion for the Gateway Project doesn’t just harm New Jerseyans, it harms our nation’s economy, too.
Send your story to andy@kim.senate.gov, and we'll continue to uplift the reality that millions of Americans across this country are currently facing. 2/2
The numbers don't lie. We are in the midst of a healthcare crisis.
New Jerseyans: if you are getting notices of increased premium costs in the mail, or if the expiration of ACA tax credits will impact you and your family, we want to hear from you. 1/2
Louisiana v Callais is not just about one congressional district.
It is the Supreme Court working to further conservative efforts to take away our voting rights and fair representation.
We must fight against this upheaval of our democracy.
The corrupt spending by this administration is out of control.
$175M for private jets for the same person who has slowed down funds for disaster relief and national security.
And during a government shutdown when millions stand to lose their healthcare. It’s shameful.
Here are 3️⃣ things Trump is spending taxpayer dollars on INSTEAD of solving the healthcare crisis.
Get help in the government shutdown ‼️ My office will be hosting another Constituent Services Resource Fair on Friday, October 24 from 10am - 2pm at Atlantic Cape Community College.
Join us to learn about resources available during the shutdown.
On Monday, @menendez.house.gov and I sat down with union workers in a north Jersey diner. They told us how valuable the Hudson Tunnel Project is to their families and communities.
On Thursday, in a blatant act of political retribution, Trump terminated its funding.
Full conversation out now.
Trump’s attacks on federal workers is systematic, but public servants are strong and resilient.
This administration is making their life hell, but they’re ready to fight back because they believe in our democracy.
Terminating the Gateway Tunnel Project means eliminating up to 100,000 jobs in the New Jersey/New York region that would have benefitted from this project.
It’s clear that mob boss Trump doesn’t care about anyone other than himself.
Trump’s cancellation of the Gateway Tunnel Project is absolutely catastrophic, but we have to stand up and fight back.
This isn’t the first time New Jersey’s had to stand up against a mob boss and a bully.
By terminating funding for Gateway, Trump is sending a message with his immature, mob boss antics.
“The message is loud and clear,” said one Jersey union worker, “we take the hit.”
Wondering why your healthcare costs are skyrocketing? Look no further than the blatant corruption of the Trump Administration.
