These next five years will be pivotal. We must push forward principles that allow people's lives to be driven by opportunity, not anxiety.     This requires a reset in how our government works and how we work with the world to build economic security and opportunity.
Get engaged. Stay engaged. This moment is demanding a lot from all of us. I promise to be accessible to you through it. @hcrichardson.bsky.social
Trump is NOT fit to be Commander-in-Chief and everybody knows it. He must be removed.   Whether it's the 25th Amendment or Republicans in Congress standing up, now is the time.
We’re at war and Republicans in Congress refuse to fund CISA, our nation’s cybersecurity agency.   Since he was sworn in, Trump has cut CISA’s staff by a third and has tried to cut their funding.   Clearly they don’t care about your safety.
We are living through a fundamental shift in global politics. The anxiety Americans feel is a symptom of a country that senses its own fragility—both at home and abroad—and we need to chart a way forward that is grounded in reality. 1/2
I'm on the train back to DC – I call on all my colleagues to come back, too. Congress must vote to end this war IMMEDIATELY.
Trump may have backed down for now, but he’s shown how unhinged he is by threatening the death of a “whole civilization.” I’m heading back to DC to try and get answers for the American people. Congress needs to return to the Capitol immediately and vote to end this war.

President Donald Trump said he’d agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran, less than two hours before his 8 p.m. deadline to destroy a “whole civilization.” Trump said the ceasefire agreement was made on the condition that Iran agree to reopen the critical Strait of Hormuz. https://cnn.it/4bZr5yA
The bottom line is: you deserve a government you can trust—that works for you, not against you. Together, let's root out corruption and override it by a deep and profound sense of public service. I look forward to sharing more with you soon. 2/2
I’ve dedicated my life’s work to fixing our broken politics. Yesterday, I delivered remarks at @nyulaw.bsky.social and laid out my anti-corruption agenda. 1/2
Congress must convene immediately to condemn Trump’s horrific threats against tens of millions of people and stop this unconstitutional war. We must prevent Trump from unleashing the catastrophic and illegal violence he is touting.
President Trump threatened on Tuesday to wipe out a “whole civilization,” as he ramped up pressure on Iran to fully open the Strait of Hormuz. Trump has set a deadline of 8 p.m. Eastern for Iran to end its effective blockade of the strait. Follow live updates. nyti.ms/4suBZS8
I believe that public officials should work for the people they serve, not their own profit.   That’s why I’m demanding answers over the alleged corruption at DHS by Corey Lewandowski.
On World Health Day, we must stand with science and for the health of communities around the world. In the U.S., we must continue to support evidence-based public health, invest in medical research, and give relief to the millions of care workers who look after our loved ones.
Earlier this week I heard from students in NJ.   For many of them, working the night shift before class or having two jobs is routine. They are struggling to afford gas, groceries, childcare, and tuition.   Life is too expensive for too many. We need to focus on the American people.
