Our state has a strong tradition of service to this country. I was blessed to welcome some of New Mexico's VFW members to my office today. Congress must make sure our veterans and their families get the care and support they deserve.
New Mexico Highlands University was represented in our nation’s capital today! I’m proud to see my alma mater leading the way for students back home and expanding opportunities across our state. I look forward to continuing our work together to build on that progress for all New Mexicans.
As health care costs continue to skyrocket across our country, Amador Health Center in Las Cruces is committed to delivering high-quality care to New Mexicans. I helped secure $516,000 for Amador Health Clinic to strengthen care for families in Doña Ana County and keep health services close to home.
I was proud to deliver $862,000 for CNM to help create a quantum science lab and launch a new quantum training program to meet the rapidly growing workforce demands in New Mexico. CNM’s Quantum Technician Training Program will prepare homegrown talent for quality, good-paying jobs.

Not another dollar for DHS and ICE without real accountability. The brutality and chaos caused by President Trump’s masked, poorly-trained, violent ICE agents needs to stop immediately. Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller need to go.
Rosa Parks was born 113 years ago today. Her simple act of bravery sparked a movement for justice. Rosa Parks is a powerful reminder that change takes courage. Today, we honor her legacy.
New Mexicans who have suffered from radiation exposure have waited far too long for justice. I was proud to help expand RECA so New Mexicans can receive the compensation they deserve. This new online tool will make it easier for New Mexicans to apply and receive compensation. Apply today.
support a funding package that does not include accountability and meaningful reforms to end this violence. Although ongoing bipartisan negotiations to reform ICE and protect our communities are a step in the right direction, these critical reforms must be enshrined in the law to earn my support.
Under the Trump administration, our nation has witnessed federal immigration agents kill two American citizens in Minneapolis while the administration has responded with outright lies and escalation. With ICE operating out of control under Secretary Noem and Stephen Miller, I cannot (cont.)
