It’s National Police Week! Law enforcement officers put their lives on the line and sacrifice so much to keep us safe.
I will continue to secure federal investments for our state and local police, and push for legislation that gives our officers the tools they need to do their jobs. #PoliceWeek

Happy Mother’s Day from my family to yours! I’m so grateful to be the mom of two amazing kids.
I’m leading a bipartisan bill to recover unused funds to repair the Hoover Dam. It will help lower energy prices, protect our water, and save taxpayer dollars ⬇️

During this #SmallBusinessWeek, I welcomed Team Tacotarian to Washington and congratulated them for being named as the 2025 Nevada Small Business Persons of the Year!
Southern Nevada is home to so many incredible small businesses, including Tacotarian Las Vegas, one of my favorite spots in the city.
I took to the House Floor to honor the life of my dear friend and mentor Elaine Wynn. She was instrumental in delivering so much to Vegas and Nevada. Her trailblazing philanthropy touched the lives of millions.
I'm grateful that I learned so much from such an amazing woman.
Please know that I, and so many Nevadans and Americans, stand with public servants.
Happy #PublicServiceRecognitionWeek to the thousands of incredible public servants across all levels of government in Nevada!
I want to especially thank our federal employees who are doing so much for our healthcare, education, infrastructure, public lands, and more.
This morning, I joined @momsrising.org to fight House Republicans' plan to gut Medicaid for more than 800,000 Nevadans so they can pay for billionaires' tax cuts.
I will always stand up for Nevada families.
This #SmallBusinessWeek, be sure to stop by one of the many small stores, cafes, restaurants, and shops southern Nevada has to offer!
Shopping small has showed me that entrepreneurial Nevadans make our economy run.
I have met so many incredible small business owners and workers over the years. They put in so much work to make our community prosper.
Rep. Amodei's proposal is a slap in the face to Nevadans. I will fight this incredibly short-sighted and bad-faith proposal every step of the way. (5/5)
The bill would enable Clark County to responsibly pursue new development while safeguarding our most precious public lands for conservation and recreation – all while ensuring that proceeds from land sales in Nevada stay in Nevada. (4/5)
Together with @cortezmasto.senate.gov, I’ve led the Southern Nevada Economic Development and Conservation Act — a balanced lands solution, meticulously negotiated with and supported by Nevadan local stakeholders. (3/5)
For decades, federal law has ensured that proceeds from land sales in southern Nevada stay in Nevada. Last night’s traitorous maneuver instead would send Nevada’s land proceeds to Washington to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. (2/5)
In the dead of night, Rep. Amodei led House Republicans in throwing Nevadans under the bus – advancing legislation to pay for their disastrous tax bill by selling off Nevada’s public lands. A 🧵(1/5)

Southern Nevada is a better place because of the teachers who work so hard to mentor and inspire the next generation.
While Elon Musk’s DOGE plans to pull the rug out from under our teachers, I’ll continue to stand up for teachers on #TeacherAppreciationWeek and every day.
I met with “smokejumpers” Isaac Karuzas and Andy Vanderheuel, representing federal wildland firefighters. These firefighters are specially trained to parachute out of planes so they can rapidly respond to wildfires before they spread. I’m fighting to ensure these heroes get the support they deserve.
On #NationalNursesWeek we recognize the necessary and compassionate care that nurses provide at every stage of life.
Thank you to all our Nevada nurses for everything that you do to keep our communities healthy!
