What happens next with the Epstein files depends, in large part, on what the press asks the president. 🧵🎥👇🏼
For 60 years since its passage, the Voting Rights Act has been undermined by politicians trying to make decisions on behalf of voters.
It's time to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, get rid of partisan gerrymandering, and give power back to the people.

We’ve introduced the Protect Our Hospitals Act, which restores the provider tax cut from the budget and helps hospitals continue to care for patients.
We’re co-sponsoring the Restoring Essential Health Care Act.
It’s a bicameral bill that repeals the federal ban on Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood.
We spoke at the Mt. Auburn clinic, that will take on additional patients from nearby closures. This is a direct attack on women.
Two Planned Parenthood centers are closing in SW Ohio after Trump’s budget cut nearly $1T from healthcare to fund tax breaks for the super-wealthy. Women will lose access to care immediately.

Trump’s budget bill guts healthcare for 15M Americans and strips critical funding from hospitals.
We introduced the Protect Our Hospitals Act to reverse one of the worst parts of the bill – cutting the provider tax that helps fund care.

These are the two big things I believe will help us fix what they’ve broken.
Second big thing: We need a new national entity — a group of people and leadership who are fully dedicated to this moment.
We need it to reframe the narrative and meet the moment fully.
10. Strengthening America’s Global Leadership Act
This would reaffirm our alliances, fight authoritarianism, and promote democracy and trade.
Also, this bill would reinvest in the foreign aid we know is so critical to our national security – and just us as human beings.
