Trump is lying and children are dying in Iran. Trump claimed again that Iran attacked a girls’ school where 175 people died, mostly children, using a Tomahawk missile. Not true. Only the US uses Tomahawks in this war. Trump must own up to this tragedy. We must end this war.
For 25+ years, green card holders and other lawful immigrants have been eligible for SBA loans, creating jobs and investing in communities. Now, 5+ million entrepreneurs are completely cut off from SBA loans. Trump's SBA must immediately reverse its cruel, anti-immigrant policies.
Donald Trump is throwing gasoline on the flames of war in Iran, while at home, Americans are paying higher prices for gasoline at the pump. Take a walk with me to see how prices are skyrocketing as a result of this illegal war.
Trump’s illegal war in Iran is causing the largest oil shock in history. Gas prices are spiking, and Americans will be feeling the pain at the pump. Meanwhile, Trump is not ruling out sending ground troops into Iran. Americans do not want an expensive and endless war abroad.
My Statement Welcoming the Ruling Against Trump Administration Effort to Terminate Protected Status for Haitians.
Today we celebrate the strength, leadership, and achievements of women in Massachusetts and around the world.
International Women’s Day is a reminder that the fight for equality, dignity, and opportunity for every woman continues, and must continue every day.
So much joy in Easthampton this evening at the CitySpace ArtWalk.
Proud to support the artists, musicians, and community that make this city special, and celebrate the $3.5 million I secured to renovate the historic Old Town Hall.
Trump is continuing his crusade of erasure at our parks. This time, removing films that tell the history of women and immigrant labor organizing against terrible conditions at the Lowell Mills. Trump cannot erase the truth. Watch one of the films now on my YouTube: youtu.be/PhfN-c_Qv3o
Last year, the Trump admin unjustifiably shuttered the Springfield @SBAgov branch office, leaving entrepreneurs in western Mass hours away from in-person services and community partners in the lurch. I’m working with @warren.senate.gov, @neal.house.gov, and @repmcgovern.bsky.social to get answers.
I’ve secured more than $100 million dollars for 85 community projects across our Commonwealth this year. Check out my investments map to learn more about the money coming to our communities. www.markey.senate.gov/map
Trump’s call for Iran’s “unconditional surrender” is just a road to endless war. We need an immediate ceasefire, not excuses to keep fighting. Trump is increasing the danger that he will send ground troops into Iran. We need diplomacy before this becomes a disaster.
Electricity rates are spiking as AI data centers pop up across the country. Households and small businesses should not be made to subsidize data centers while they already struggle to get by. Our nation's public utility commissions set household rates--they can act now.
