The last US-Russian arms control treaty expires in just 100 days. Yet, as the excellent ‘House of Dynamite’ makes clear, arms reductions buy us better protection than unreliable missile defenses. As I write on @msnbc.com, “The real answer is not more technology, but fewer weapons.”
I'm a U.S. senator. 'House of Dynamite' exposes a brutal truth.
The film dispels the comforting illusion that technology can shield us from a nuclear attack.
The Trump administration could stop families from going hungry. Instead, he is choosing to make a political point. This is not fiscal policy—it’s political cruelty. I applaud @massago.bsky.social Andrea Campbell for leading the charge to keep food on Americans’ tables.
Massachusetts, 24 other states sue Trump administration over looming SNAP suspension
Trump shut down the government while families face skyrocketing health care and grocery costs. What is he doing about it? Funneling $40 billion to Argentina to buy an election and bail out his billionaire buddies. Cruelty at home, corruption abroad. Americans deserve better.
Big Investors Await Windfall From Trump’s Argentina Bailout
The United States finalized a $20 billion lifeline for Argentina that will benefit Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s allies.
This is the problem with long-range missile defense: 1) It does not work. 2) It provokes Putin to build more nuclear weapons to defeat the defense, sparking a new arms race. It is lose-lose.
Putin Says Russia Now Has Nuclear-Powered Missile
Because of its power source, the Burevestnik can remain airborne far longer than other nuclear-armed missiles.
I’m standing with my colleagues to call out Donald Trump’s luxury ballroom grift and the pay-to-play politics that come with it. Public office is a public trust—not a VIP suite for the highest bidder. We must reject this corruption.
'Trump demolishes the East Wing White House norms and The East Wing's rapid razing bypassed a detailec process for major federal renovation projects in Washington. Now, Senate Democrats are demanding answers.'
Trump is unstable, unpredictable, and too emotionally fragile. He’s willing to jeopardize $3.6 billion in daily trade between the US and Canada over a television ad. We must take away the remote and his authority to impose tariffs on a whim.

The Associated Press
@AP
BREAKING: Trump says he is terminating trade talks with Canada because of TV ads protesting tariffs.
BREAKING NEWS: The Trump admin just announced they are opening the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge for oil drilling. This is exactly what Big Oil and Big Gas were hoping for when they donated hundreds of millions of dollars to Trump. Now he’s handing them a blank check.
I’m proud the Commerce Committee advanced our bill to reauthorize the Young Fishermen’s Development Program—$2 million annually to support the next generation of fishermen in Massachusetts and along our coasts. Together, we’ll invest in young people and our thriving fishing communities.
I've heard from organizations across Massachusetts that Trump's new international postal policy is threatening the delivery of care packages for servicemembers. I’m calling on the DOD & USPS to make it easier—not harder—for families to send care packages to loved ones overseas.
